Amber wants to be at a healthy weight in principle. She wants it as long as it does not involve her in any way. This is why she likes to say that she is on a diet without doing any of the requirements of that diet. She gives herself billions of points on WW to make sure that she eats as much as she wants. She chose an eating disorder programme that let her eat as much as she wants too. This is why she is now talking again about bariatric surgery. However, she does not have the money anymore and perhaps this is why she is getting unhinged lately.
About point 1, and just let me say in first place that I know it is just wishful thinking, but I think it would have a lot of potential if Amber really reformed her shity behaviour.

I wouldn't care. She hasn't put out anything truly entertaining in a really long time, and that's what I'm here for. I don't care if she loses weight, gains weight, or maintains her current weight. Chantal (who got her channel reinstated, btw) is also a huge failure in the weight loss department, and she's been able to pivot away from being a weight loss channel by putting her craziness on full display. I'm not sure Amber could do that, because Amber seems to be an empty shell without a supporting cast, and she currently has no one willing to be on camera with her. She isn't willing to put any of her hobbies on display (she could do book discussion streams, she could do streams where she puts together some of her Legos while interacting with the chat, she could read some of her writing and solicit feedback, etc). So what else is there? Nothing other than recycled ideas that just aren't any fun to watch anymore. I'd rather watch the old videos that I actually enjoyed instead of this new crap.
Honestly, I don't think Ham has either the will or skill for a normal job. As much as we all like to make fun of her for being a fatass, her greatest weakness is her severe underdeveloped cognitive ability coupled with extreme laziness. This is why she is fat. And this is why she will never excel in anything or set and achieve any real goals. She has a mental barrier that is a greater obstacle than any weight problem. A day job, especially a call center, requires the ability to think on your feat, listen to and process information, and clearly communicate verbally all while logging notes and navigating a system on a computer. It's not easy work and can be quite grueling and mentally draining despite what a lot of people say. Now when you compare those requirements to how well Al articulates her lizard thoughts with her 5th grade vocabulary and how little effort she puts into literally every aspect of her life, it's not hard to see that she's just not up to snuff were it to come down to her working any kind of office or call center job. The only thing I've ever seen her do with any competence is typing. I'd venture to say that she even has a higher wpm than myself. But again, no drive to capitalize on it at all because that would mean work. I don't know what her future is but based on her lazy state of arrested development, I can only predict dark times ahead for her once her channel finally dies.
