Stop me if I'm being totally absurd here, but has it ever occurred to Lady Spamalot that she could, like, ask the therapist/ nutritionist/ whoever if she has concerns about what they suggest? Something along the lines of "I'm worried that following a diet/ not following a diet/ counting calories/ intuitive eating/ being awake/ breathing will trigger a binge, is there anything else I can try?"

Or would that involve her actually WANTING to do outpatient in thr first place, rather than this being another half hearted attempt at nothing soon to be officially cancelled in another "blaming my audience for all my problems because you guise booleeeeed me into this" video...?

She's aware enough to acknowledge that she needs more structure but too retarded to admit that she needs to be admitted to an inpatient program. It's like her tiny lizard brain can't make the connection that she can't do wishy-washy bullshit like intuitive eating and needs actual medical intervention.

I think she wants to lose weight. But kinda like how when you know you should go to bed earlier so you’re not miserable at work, but you wanna stay up and watch another episode of a show instead. Then you’re up 4 hours later than you should be and you wake up feeling like garbage.

She knows losing weight is something she needs to do, but she gets too much satisfaction and comfort from eating.

I imagine she doesn’t even think about her health or weight when she’s indulging in these foods, and then after is like “shit I shouldn’t have done that. I feel disgusting” but she just keeps doing it anyway instead of getting her shit together.

This is why I say she is a lost cause. Until she gets all of her mental issues sorted out (you don’t just get to 600lb and nothing is wrong with you mentally) she will remain a whale. But like most fatties it’s comfort>change
