I don't know where, and I am uncertain exactly when other than Becky was still there, but I recall Amber saying Jade has BPD.

I get the need for a car, or flatbed maybe, but why all this talk about Amber getting a license?
Do we know for certain if Jade Francis has a valid driver's license?

I'm pretty certain that BPD on its own (unless horrifically severe or co-morbid) does not classify one as anything close to disabled. It's a fucking cluster B personality disorder, it's not any less disabling than being a narc, except for those around the sufferer.

Besides, what little is known of Jade doesn't vibe BPD. A BPD wouldn't leave a gorl they oh-so-adore-to-death alone on Thanksgiveen. They also likely wouldn't force a poly relationship as they really latch 100% onto their victim and put them on a pedestal. The aspect of control might be there, but that's just narc shit, honestly.

It's always jarring to me how aggressively fat her chin is. I noticed it when she was drinking the soda. Her neck might be smaller but that chin isn't leaving without a fight.

For those trying to figure out how big-in-inches Amber is, she's shown standing in a doorway. Aren't doorways at least 30"? If Amber is 30 inches wide and 63 inches tall, on a scale of 1-10 how glad are you not to be her?

I know theoretically a company isn't supposed to discriminate based on a disability but realistically, isn't it a little bit... short sighted or (if I go full tilt) stupid to disclose something like that on your LinkedIn for every potential recruiter to see before you even apply for a job?

Yes. Those of us who have actually experienced the real world understand this. People like Jade, however, think, "Hey, potential employers aren't allowed to discriminate against me because of mUh cOnDiShUn, therefore it's totally fine to blast it all over my LinkedIn. THEY'RE NOT ALLOWED TO DISCRIMINATE!"

There actually is a test that psychologists can give patients with mental disorders that tests how functional they are or not in their daily lives and, yes, can be used in getting on disability. It’s called the GAF or Global Assessment of Functioning.

BPDs aren't users per se. The using isn't the end goal, it's a byproduct. They will utilise it to get what they want, but what they want is usually not to be abandoned, to be loved, catered to, taken care of emotionally, be fulfilled. If they can have you without opening up and have control over you, that's all the better. But a lot of them (intentionally or unintentionally) put in a lot of actual emotion into their relationships and develop codependency. Leaving someone they are "using" is just not BPD modus operandi, and they can feel both like they are unable to control their victim, and feel the repercussions of this codependency in the form of anxiety or other negative emotions. As destructive as they tend to be, they genuinely do oftentimes believe they love the person and they try to act accordingly and will even experience these strong emotions of love and display them lavishly.

Maybe I wasn’t clear enough. Jade doesn’t love her. She is using her. I don’t think it’s that fucking deep. People with BPD don’t know how to actually “love” anyone. Outside of years of therapy and DBT the only person they love is their “favorite person.” Everyone else is a financial or emotional resource.

True. IDK why I even thought Amber might be her FP for a second, it's late. I still don't think most BPDs are this incredibly shit at hiding their grift. In fact, most are pretty good about leeching off their victims covertly for years.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say she's fixated on the license for a few reasons: 1. She's trying to convince her audience of her autonomy per usual; 2. It's a clumsy way to say 'FUCK YOU BECKY. I don't need you!'; 3. She's going to eventually use the license as a "reason" for why the car thing doesn't work out: 'oh they won't sell me the car unless I get my license' (not true) 'oh, I have to make an appointment but they won't let me choose the day and x person can't take me on the dates available' 'oh, to schedule the driving test, I need to take a written exam first' (not true after you turn 18 ) ' oh to take the driving test, I need to have my own car' (not true) etc, etc, etc

Amber adamantly refused to even consider ever driving. Ever. She was refusing minutes before Jade showed up and pretended to love her. It was only then Amber started oinking about needing to get her license because Jade suggested she do so. Perhaps she even required she do it within a certain time frame. That was for Jade and no one else.

lol whut? No one's letting anyone take the driving portion of the test until they've passed the written, no matter the age.

Is that a recent change? When I got my license, I didn't need to take the written test but that was awhile ago. If that's the case, then hey. Just another excuse under her belt.
 
The “getting a license to drive” is on the same level as “losing 300 pounds”, “moving to Seattle”, or “going to college”, namely, they are all aspirational and will never happen unless someone pushes her very hard to do it. In reality, she has no interest in doing any of these and many other things. On New Years Day, Amber will rehash her New Year resolutions, like every years, that will never be fulfilled.
