K, I admit I don't pay quite as much attention to FatAl as I used to since she's boring and Chins has cranked her lunacy up to eleven. I still read and watch and had the same question as Strawberry Something (and thanks for explaining C.P.) BUT--where has this idea that Jade is some sort of puppet-master and Al meekly goes along with everything she says come from?

Al is not some shy, timid wittle gorl to be lead by her snout; she's a loud, obnoxious, know-it-all, control freak who has dominated every gorlfren she's ever had.

Sorry if I just missed it but I don't understand the idea of a complete reversal of her entire personality.

I have been wondering the same thing for so long. I have been keeping up since jade was introduced but I do not buy into the fact that she is some puppet master dom controlling everything Amber does. I don’t even think she is still there. Everyone speculating and saying we have definite proof jade is there because of some headphones is retarded.

I don’t think Amber is desperate enough that she would let someone she barely know fully takeover her life and finances.

Also if I missed something someone please point me to some actual proof of all this other than Amber saying she is in some sub/dom poly shit. Cause Amber lies in case anyone forgot.
 
So the idea of Jade being some sort of puppet master floated about during the Becky breakup. Its origin point is the car, we knew Jade drives hence the vehicle civil case. Amber though wanted the car, which makes no sense since Amber cannot drive. This means she wants someone to drive it. Amber also got very agitated and gutsy/arrogant when Becky went. She does this whenever she is in a new relationship and starts to take on their personality.

Then though post doxxing of Jade, Amber and her content turned very empty. The arrogance around Jade and about Jade evaporated and she was very careful to not even mention her. It did not even turn into "me and a friend" (an amberism when she lies about a person) but no mention at all. We know she is there because her moving rooms, standing desk, and the change in food.

  • Standing desk common in IT jobs now
  • The Beats a gift for someone as they do not match Amber's aesthetic
  • Change of rooms to the guest bedroom
  • The pleasant-looking food, which we know she is sure as fuck not preparing.
  • She was exercising
  • In a few of videos, you can see her reading off something and she is clearly being directed.
  • The change in editing and tone.
Amber by her past is pretty domineering, Destiny said this and it was clear with Krystal. Amber has always been number one and the shift of her going into the guest room along with the talk of polyamorous relationships with males is very unAmber. I am 7 years into following Amber and this weird turn is so unlike her and it is the weird sanitization of her content.

My thoughts are either Jade has taken the position of Amber's manager (weird I know) or Amber's disdain for Youtube is very high and she does not care anymore. It could be both because she has disliked Youtube as a job for years because of detractors.
 
Been looking at her weigh-on videos -
Mon 11 Oct video 517.2 in clothes and she shows us the scale
Wed 13 Oct 518.0 shows in flashback. Says she weighs in naked, so looks like she
gained at least 2 pounds in 2 days. This also looks like where she
started her current 'diet'
Wed 20 Oct 509.6 shows scale . This looks like her first week, hence the big loss of
mostly water-weight
Wed 27 Oct 506.2 shows scale. A 3 pound loss, so already barely losing
Wed 3 Nov 504.0 and also claims in the same video 503.6 no scale shown so she's
probably lying and stopped her 'diet'
Wed 10 Nov 507.4 no scale shown and admits to gaining even after all the exercise,
calorie counting and change in lifestyle.
Her 'diet' looks like it's done, although I doubt it even started. She will probably keep lying for a nit longer about it.
This Wednesday marks 8 years exactly since she started her 'weight-loss journey'. I can't wait to see how much our gorl has 'lost'. Here starting weight was 368.0

One other point.

The decorations in the flat are nothing like what Amber used before; posters, rubbish objects. They are more mature than anything Amber can think.

I think Amber is stuck. Amber cannot live by herself. Amber has stayed with Destiny, Krystle and Becky after they broke up, but Becky left earlier than Amber expected. I would not be surprised that Amber accepted the requests from Wifey so that she is not left alone. There is nothing romantic between them. The move in the second bedroom is a dead giveaway.

I think Becky left earlier than originally planned because Amber moved Jade in so soon. Living with an ex is one thing, but having them move their new piece into the apartment you shared while you're still there is asking a bit much.

I'll bet Amber's next haul is all full of black and gold items and she'll blather on and on about how it's her new favorite color combo.

That's a flex purchase, if ever there was one. As others have said here, you can get higher quality headphones for less, if you could be bothered doing a bit of research.
But no, if they're celebrity sponsored, and expensive (Kardashian perfumes, anyone), she's all in. My point being -
1. She's tired of all the Amber is broke speculation.
2. She's got no taste.
3. Jade will absolutely yoink those headphones, if they weren't actually bought for her.
 
I don't think it's so much that Amber can't be controlled by a girlfriend so much as it is she never really was. Both Destiny and Becky could get visibly annoyed with her and even through subtle shade, but I never got the impression that they ever told her what to do. But remember, when she lost those magical 89 elbees it was because Krystle's mother laid down the law. As long as Amber was living in her house she was going to follow a prescribed diet. Also, she was very soft-spoken when she first started YouTube. I think she admitted herself it was because she didn't want to disturb anyone in the house (or was told not to disturb anyone in the house?).

I am not too familiar with the Krystal era, but Amber did start getting louder, fatter, and more obnoxious during that time. Did they move out of Krystal's mom's house or did Amber finally rebel?

EDIT: I did some research, and indeed the fatter and louder DID begin with Destiny. So as soon as she was out from under Krysta'ls mom's thumb. (Krystal herself seemed like more of a pushover).

Not even 50k views on the weigh in? Ouch. Well, I guess since Jade is actually employed, Amber doesn't really need to earn as much money as she did when she was supporting Becky.
 
She has actually lost about 50% of her audience in such a short time too. I have the past month screen-capped for next week as I wonder how much past videos of the month will go up. Maybe there were legit more Becky/Destiny stans than we thought and as they vanished her views hit.

I bet she is begging Wipey to appear to make a 100k video. Think of it though we are in a diminishing return arc now because Amber has to work twice as hard to get views. Old videos got 100k+ now she can barely make 50k. I would not be at all surprised if she starts flagging channels soonish. We are going to see a pissed Amber because she hates doing extra work.

I am too a bit surprised how fast she is losing her audience. She has close to 200k subscribers but most are not watching her. I think she is left with her based supporters but those are leaving her too. It is telling that some reaction channels get more views than hers.

She might get over 100k if Wifey appears, but since she said that Jade does not exist, Wifey is gone, her girlfriend and friends that can’t be seen, she would have to make some mental gymnastics to explain all of this. Her views are likely going to tank afterwards. Even if she sanitized her vlogs, if is the same old retreaded content that we all saw numerous times. With Christmas coming up, it will be interesting to see how she will manage. By the way, was she going to move around this time? She is buying furniture; she is not acting like someone who is moving soon.
 
I wonder if Amber's views are really that bad, or if it just seems that way because she's uploading more often, so there are less views per video, but more videos, so there's a more consistant amount instead of a spike when she uploads and then a dip when she doesn't.

I looked on social blade and averaged her numbers from the last 13 days and she's still making between $12 and $196 per day.

Her subscribers are remaining fairly consistant too. I'm sure it's mostly people waiting for her to be interesting and/or people who have forgotten she's on their list.

There needs to be a mass unsubscribe event like there was around the time of Sausage Fest/Shrimpgate.
Where's Sabine Davis when you need her?

Not only are the daily stairs exercises completely pointless for her dieting, they are seriously dangerous for her heart and joints, at her weight.
I'm beginning to think Wipey is much more clever than we think. Maybe her plan is to convince Hamber to change her will and testament while slowly killing her.
