No matter what, amber sees herself as someone like that. All her adopting other personalities will never take the first shitty one away. She is -at her enlarged heart, a California valley girl stereotype and going for a "criminal justice" degree is just tinfoil hat proof she's a twin of Elle in her own mind.

Being low-key retarded, plus pretending to be the dumb blonde hottie (she did that to attract the boys. It was common with girls her age growing up where she did it just didn't fucking work for her) she just wanted attention and that was the best way to do it. Now after 20+ years of being the "I'm only pretending to be retarded" meme she's actually screwed herself over. She can't do anything and barely may have a cognitive comparison to an eighth grader and that's being generous.
