Usually the tip-off for hand-flapping not being the normal kind is most kids grow out of doing weird flappy shit, whereas an autistic kid will keep at it for years beyond when it's acceptable until taught to stop or taught to use less disruptive methods of fidgeting. I can't keep up with the amount of times she's changed her story but if she's claiming to have been diagnosed as a kid, the flapping would have been the first thing they'd work on since it invites ridicule from peers. Hand-flapping at the age she's shown in that pic doesn't prove anything.

So yeah lots of certified bullshit from this cow etc etc

Seeing these pictures of her as a child and young teen is more depressing than the OP. She was cute, full of life, happy...

Now she looks like a dead-eyed StrikerWolf in drag :( How is that even possible? OP said she used a lot of acid?

How the hell does she have a neckbeard and facial hair??

Yeah, lots of acid, among other drugs. As for the facial hair, she has a list of disorders ten feet long, and several of them can cause hormonal imbalances that could cause such heavy hair growth. (One that's been brought up, but I can't remember if it's been confirmed, but popular sentiment is that she must have severe PCOS--which causes heavy body hair growth, testosterone over-production, and makes it easy to gain weight and difficult to lose it.)
 
Yeah, babies and toddlers that are totally normal developmentally have been known to flap their hands usually if they're excited. Eventually they grow out of it
 
No exaggeration -- this woman is possibly the ugliest human being I've ever seen.

And I don't know whether to feel sorry for her, hate her obvious duplicity and utter lack of character, or just marvel at what a thorough trainwreck she seems to be. She makes other lolcows here look high-functioning in comparison -- it's as if Dr. Frankenstein put together a monster from the most disgusting and contemptible parts of other 'cows. To cite just one example: Zayn Zaki seems like a normal, level-headed, productive young woman when set alongside this two-legged Tower of Fail.

Thank you, KiwiFarms, for leading me down yet another rabbit-hole of human dysfunction and perversity.

It's interesting, I think, to compare candid images of Amanda to those she has personally staged.

This is a candid picture of Amanda, taken at a retreat for persons with disabilities. Note her socially appropriate demeanor and bright, engaged expression.

Contrast with a representative image she has staged for social media. Note her low affect, slightly deflected gaze, and the dangling scarf. (Fixation on a dangling object is another stereotypical "stimming" behavior.)

Amanda has asserted that images like the latter accurately represent her level of functioning, while the former are deceptive. She has written long and nuanced articles on the difference between "passing" as non-disabled, versus coercively "being passed off as," arguments which have been picked up and cited by the radtransfem community on tumblr. Yet, in this interview with "autism consultant" Donna Williams, she has also admitted to deliberately "force-fitting herself into a lot of autism stereotypes."

Amanda likes to claim that inconsistencies in her stories are not lies, but that she's genuinely misunderstood how the world works because she is autistic. The stereotype of autistic people being excessively honest because they lack the theory of mind needed to tell convincing lies is, um, pretty convenient for her.

Funny how the only ones that look autistic are where they're staged with her completely aware of being photographed.

The fact that she was able to deceive news networks with her lies pretty much shows she is certainly not severely autistic, and I'm pretty sure she is not autistic at all. Just an absolute fake in every way.

This must be one of the greatest undiagnosed cases of Munchausen Syndrome ever. Wonder if anyone will ever bust her act? And despite her relatively young age, is she too far gone into it to ever return to relative functionality?
 
Also, Grumpy Cat has never pretended to be retarded. So, she's got that going for her. Which is nice.

She also bathes regularly, doesn't shit herself, and makes a living off a physical condition that's actually real.

Grumpy Cat is a more functional adult than at least half the cows here.
