She would have been alive when he wrote it so maybe it was to spare her more negative publicity, but this is the strange thing: he changed her name but didn't change any of the other identifying details about her - anyone googling the name of the video + autism would have found her Wikipedia page anyway.
Most of the other anecdotes are semi-anonymous, with the exception of high-profile cases like Gypsy Rose Blanchard.
(Also I made a mistake in my last post: he called her Natalie Johnston, not Johnstone)
