It's also possible it's just an English word that is adopted into the area. In Japanese "gum" is often used for eraser which I don't think is used in any native dialect, at least none I can think of.
I had edited that post to show her pic on the arm crutches and here is another.
This one obviously has no cast but the one I edited into my previous post doesn't seem to have a cast either. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt for what she thinks "plastered" means.

Either way a stress fracture seems more likely to me. You can get one of those in many ways but... well, considering her state she probably tripped and hurt something. There are no cuts, bruises, or marks of any kind on her leg so if there was a car accident it must have been a fender bender with her actually in a car. I'll chock her description up to poor English but I think whatever happened would be the sort of thing a healthy person would have walked away from.

She's actually an english tutor to a kid, yet shows no intent of improving. She has a lot of followers that she's kinda douchey to, if she responds at all. I'm in the process of collecting screenshots and stuff for OP, but she comes accross as super douchey trust me guiz there's sauce somewhere god i cant find it

She consistently makes the same errors over and over, so they become like CWCisms. People keep telling her it's not spelled strenght, or challanging, but she doesn't listen. Her entire IG is written in this SUPER POSI way, and she never admits anything is wrong, so it becomes easy to mock her because she comes across as so smug. TBH a lot of the mockery is actually over her formulaic and predictable writing style.

THIS is the most recent text post to accompany a photo of a cookie. A. Photo. Of. A. Cookie. She writes these at least 5 times a day. For everything she eats.

Also, her 16 year old friend (who wrote the interview messages in my last post) is SIGNIFICANTLY better at communicating in English than Aly. So comparing her to her younger friends, she still sucks :lol:

At least she gave up the OOTD pics, once she realized they gave away the game. But as of a year ago, she was PROUDLY showing her RECOVERY WINS with photos like this

About 6 months ago she started covering up. And before she broke her leg from being a brittle spoop a couple weeks ago, she was only wearing baggy sweatpants or skinny jeans with leggings / legwarmers over the top. They've suspended her weigh-ins and ED treatment until she gets her cast off, and the girl is looking just as fragile in the face as she did a year ago. Her treatment team are morons, and her mom is a total enabler. Someone got in touch with a friend of Aly's who confirmed that she bullies her friends into taking photos with her, or she'll refuse to eat and won't speak to them any longer

Since she's covered up, her delusional followers can still claim all of the calories she's "eating" are going straight to her hair and nails first, and that she IS gaining. But her facehugger sternum tells a different tale.

Hate to break it to you, but that IS her leg with a cast / plaster on. She's THAT frail (she also in a wheelchair now, because she can't hold herself up on those crutches for more than a minute or two.)

Here's a photo of her 2 months ago at Christmas, in her baggy sweatpants that she uses to hide her size (she's wearing them again in the black and white cast picture)

Shortly after Christmas, she stopped giving updates on her weight gains (although she claims to be gaining like a champ, and making her whole medical team proud.) While I'd hoped that she'd cave in and get in patient treatment at some point, if breaking her tiny limbs hasn't convinced her she's in trouble I don't know what will. Anorexics can easily die of a broken bone, since they don't have enough energy or calcium left to heal.

But she's REAL RECOVER-ING, my ED family! Watch her treat herself to her daily croissant; see the fear joy in her eyes, and the way she's gained such weight LIFE

It's like watching a time lapse decomposition video, all withering meat and shiny cracked bones. The sad part is that even if she started getting better tomorrow, her organs are good and fucked until the inevitable cardiac arrest at <30.

Because she'll tell you, darling, delved does mean drowned in English, darling. Aly knows English very well (...) and isn't afraid to correct others. For me the way she misuses the language is part of her charm. I'm actually a bit pissed off with those who have corrected her in the past, because her spelling of 'challanging!' in every post was hilarious to me, and now it's gone.

I forgot about the amazing eating videos, and that facehugger image collections is a POSI-BOMB!

The thread has been reinstated at lolcow. I didn't visit there for 24hrs so missed the new drama that led to reinstatement. I can only assume it will make things more 'chill' here. Sit back and taste the wine, delve yourself in the delicious posi-vibes of Aly.

Also because she claims to be an English tutor! In truth, some family member probably took pity on her and she's helping some kid once in a while. Sad, isn't it? Oh and her arrogance, don't even get me started! I remember one post where an Italian asked "why do you post in English?" and her reply was along the lines of "because it's the world's top language and everyone should learn it." Cocky bitch.
 
As a backup, lest we forget: right before she broke her leg, our SUPER POSI VIBES princess had a meltdown 3 weeks ago because her little brother - who is an actual child, unlike her - had the nerve to get sick. Brother getting sick meant that Aly didn't have the whole family's attention for a few minutes. She's the only sick person! She had a fit until her father came home from work to stay with Brother so their mom could take their 20 year old daughter out to pretend to eat. This is not an irregular occurrence; her mom has to leave work 1-2 times per day when Aly is mobile to accompany Aly to cafes for photoshoots, or Aly refuses to eat.

And by the last shot, Aly is smiling because she got her way after all. What a great day! And since commenters pointed out that this was a shitty way to behave, she eventually deleted the whole series. She likes being a bitch, not looking like one.
 
I really lose any sympathy I'd otherwise have for someone with a serious and even life-threatening psychological condition when they use it to sadistically abuse everyone around them. At that point I'm glad she broke her leg. I hope it never heals.
 
Ouch about the leg but yeah, I do think she has her family completely involved in this game of taking a little bite, or maybe not, or that gaining a litre of water's worth of weight is an achievement that cannot be questioned. She is abusive to them in that sense.
