I heard a lot of the reason there are a lot of alt-right types continuing to use it despite shitting on it constantly is because mainstream social media posts are a great way to reach out to normies. I've even see people on /pol/ talk about making Twitter accounts for the sole purpose of spreading memes and getting into internet fights. The same goes with lefties who brag about Mastodon, only post there for a day, then run back to Twitter.

That's also the reason you see people online making calls for the government to break up or take over big tech companies, especially since it's hard to displace them.

Like damn man how mad did altfurry get over logs that are essentially worthless? The only logs that are better than the admin logs are the logs for the Gods, and I only know one dude who has them.
