It was interesting seeing this little time capsule. Given how Reddit is now, I have no doubt that this video would be taken down or at least "locked because y'all can't behave." And most of the comments are rightfully critical of the guy too. I bet if it was posted today, people would be asking "well, what did they say to him? How did they treat him before the video starts?" Or otherwise making excuses. Oh, kind of like this loser:

What this "foreigner" did was wrong - no doubt about that, but part of me can understand his anger, despite the fact that he clearly went too far in expressing his frustration and anger towards those Koreans on the bus.

I can not tell you how many times I've had it out with self-entitled, older Koreans (typically Korean men over 60) that stare at me with this utterly deep, disapproving stare whenever I take public transportation in Busan (where I live).

It's hard to describe!

The best way to explain it is that it feels like they want me - "the Dirty Foreigner" - to get down on my knees and bow down to them - "the Pure Blooded, Cleanest Race" - while subjugating my pride to appease their sacrosanct, Confucian privilege.

This situation is made worse when I am with my Korean girlfriend; older Korean men go absolutely bat-shit when I physically touch her. There seems to be a general societal belief in Korea that a "dirty foreigner", like myself, does not have the right to hold hands with, or express any form, whatsoever, of physical intimacy with a Korean woman, but the "pure-blooded", Korean couple next to me on the subway/bus with their arms around each other is just fine.

Older Korean men on the Busan bus and subway system seem to feel that they (despite being a total stranger) are entitled enough (because of their "superior, pure culture") to tell my Korean girlfriend how to live her life, that "dating a foreigner will bring shame to her family" and "dirty foreign men are not allowed to touch pure, Korean women". One guy, about 80 years old, even told me, in English, that I "stole one of their women."

What this guy did in the video is just plain wrong, I can not support his behavior, but if I - as a White foreigner - get the evil eye everyday on public transport, told off and my GF yelled at because we are a mixed couple, and constantly called a 외국인 (foreigner) at least five times a day, and my arm-hair pulled & prodded by drunk Korean men ridding the subway home, then I can try to imagine just how badly a Black foreigner would be treated in Korea.

Koreans don't care about hiding their racist feelings, they quite openly hate dark skinned people. They have racist biases against Black Westerners, as well as dark skinned Asians who they import to do 3D (Dirty, Difficult, Dangerous) jobs, as well as marry Korean farmers. Funny thing is that a "pure-blooded" Korean farmer who marries a Thai woman and subsequently treats her as his baby making property is just fine according to Confucian standards, just as long as a pure, Korean woman isn't stolen by a "foreign barbarian".

It was mandated educational policy, officially put out by the Korean Ministry of Education, until 2008, that elementary, middle, and high school students were taught that, "You are not truly Korean unless you have 100% Korean blood".

Being exposed to that level of institutionalized-cultural, Korean racism on a daily basis, no fucking wonder that guy exploded.
Now this is exactly the kind of reply I'd expect to see if this video made a resurgence. It's so in line with the prevailing attitudes redditors have about black violence. "Oh, it's so stressful being a minority," and "the people there are racist so he's justified" of course with no source or evidence. Demonizing ethnically-homogenous societies and infantlizing niggers. Y'know, it's kind of funny. I actually agree with this guy that the black in the video can't control his emotions and an outburst like this is inevitable. The difference being he thinks it's caused by racism and not genetics, and he also believes it absolves him from accountability.

That comment was down voted (only at -2, but still.) I shudder to imagine how positively it'd be received today.
 
Was recently on vacation with my mother on one of those touristy bus tours. We get back on the bus to find our bag of pastries left on our seats missing. After checking for it and not finding it we mention to the tour guides when they get back and then they check. Turns out the only black guy on the bus and his wife stole it then lied saying they didn’t know where it came from.

It seems like most of the guy's gripes are really about Korea's traditionally Confucian culture and, I guess that's fair, but why does he then go and surround himself with it? I sure as hell wouldn't.

Also, even dumber than the melanin aspect of worshiping dey own skeen coluh is the carbon part. I'm guessing it has to do with how things like charcoal and coal or anything that's been carbonized tends to be black but do they, like ... not think that whitey is also carbon-based?

I love it.

More people should do this. As much as I love those "glitter bombs" that one engineer makes every couple of years, I'm becoming a real fan of decoy-style operations like in this video.

Remember that "Bait Car" TV show, where they rigged up a decoy car with cameras, remote locks (that couldn't be overridden from within the vehicle), remote shutdown and remote tracking? Then they'd park it in a "high crime" area in a conspicuous spot and leave the keys in it). 'member why they canceled it? Hint: despite their best efforts, they caught almost exclusively nothing but niggers. Even when they parked it in predominantly-white areas, it was almost always a nigger who actually took the bait.

Decoy ops like the one in the above video are fucking great. They have to reveal/expose themselves (to pull up, look for packages, run up, pick them up and run off with them), the boxes are big enough that they can't fit too many houses' worth of loot at once, and assuming you don't physically damage the TV, even if they stop a few blocks later to check the box (for pranks, etc.) they won't realize it's a worthless piece of plastic, likely until they get it home to try it out (or run it to a local store to return/exchange it, which won't work if you've put a different brand of dead TV in the box).

So it wastes their time, exposes their actions, gets trash out of your house, pisses them off, and spares somebody having a real package stolen because the stupid apes were stealing your decoy instead of a genuine treat.

If everybody started doing this, these niggers will move on to another grift since it won't be worth it anymore.

"Young James" explained that it is encouraged to not do anything if they attack you besides run away or pull up your phone to gather evidence. It would seem that defending yourself is a big no-no.
As per the local police response, I have no idea. If you wish for me to say it in Japanese, 知りません :smug:
