I never understand why with the vehicles the cops don't always get two units out and have one squad car park in-front of the suspect so he can't flea.
They don't have unlimited police units. Each time a police car is involved in a collision (i.e. boxing in a suspect to physically block attempts to elude, executing a PIT maneuver, etc.), it has to be taken to a mechanic and/or body shop for inspection (at minimum) or repair/replacement (at worst). It's expensive and reduces the size of the available fleet. There are more assholes to chase and arrest than there are police units available to do it.

Netflix Daniel Penny.
That dude displayed peak masculinity just like Penny did, as far as I'm concerned he's a hero.

Dude got stabbed and his thought was "at least it happened to me and not someone more vulnerable" after standing up to a lunatic

Are there any decent metro areas in the United States that are relatively free of nogs and nog-like behavior? I'm from New Jersey which isn't the worst when it comes to that sort of thing but it's also not really the best. Don't tell me I need to move to some rural area in Maine - I like civilization, I just don't like crime.

Cities are the best thing to ever happen to humanity. They’re so amazing, so productive. Literal engines of creativity and wealthy…

… and we use them to warehouse nogs.

WHYYYYYYYYYY

Between the husband and wife, I think they might have half the conditions described in the Merck Manual.

Some highlights:
-I make $250k yearly (but flying spirit airlines)
-I have a disability (resists repeatedly)
-My leg's broke! (after choking out an officer, also it's not broke)
-Cleveland Ohio sweatshirt
-I don't trust the police (jumped into a dogpile melee willingly)
-Refuses more comfortable cuffs because afraid of being raped
-Completely unrelated witness contradicts the "$250k VA worker"'s story completely and has video
-Uncle is a lawyerjudge

The niggerocity in that video was off the charts.

It would be worth it if they just used the death penalty instead of letting the people back out.

Or just start designing cars used for traffic stops that have a passenger seat + specialized windshield to allow shooting a .50 out the front of the car with accuracy. Sure that is an extra salary per car and a special cert for the shooting a .50 out the front of a car, but a .50 through the engine block the instant a car moves from a traffic stop is mostly gonna piss off engine swap shops: it is way safer than chases + PITs even with ricochets considered. Oh no but backseat passengers! Well don't run from a stop if you don't want a .50 down the middle of your car.

Also start charging people that run from the cops in vehicles with attempted vehicular homicide for every car they pass during a chase.

Had a Breakfast Question moment in real life for the first time. Reading about it is one thing but seeing it in action is way different and makes me question the thought process. Guess the race.

For context, I work in a prison and inmates need paperwork to go anywhere that's not part of the normal schedule. Go to class, go to a program, stuff like that. I'm still pretty green, so I asked my captain, who is the third highest of our ranks. Only two ranks outclass Captains and those are single person ranks, as opposed to multiple Captains.

Anyways, an inmate asks me if he can go to the barber, which is run by another inmate on a set schedule. I didn't know it was set on a schedule yet, so I went to my captain and said that someone wants to go. She says "I'm not opening the barber shop today." Which, fair, inmates were acting up. But it led to the follow up question.

"If an inmate wanted to go to the barber, do they require one of their papers or do they just need permission?"

She answers "I'm not opening the barber."

And I ask "Okay, but on a day in which the barber shop is open, what is the process if an inmate wants to go?"

She says again that she's not opening it. I have to tell her "That is not the question I am asking. I am asking if, in the event that the barber shop is open and an inmate needs a haircut, what is the proper protocol? Do they need papers or do they go whenever they want?"

She again mentioned not opening the barber and that there's a schedule for when the barber shop is open. Which I then walked away, found the schedule on the barber window, saying each dorm gets a different day, and what times it's open.

She still did not actually answer my question of what the protocol is when someone wants a haircut.
