Which wouldn't make any sense, because white guys who work on Wall Street probably wouldn't use the subway, because they can afford not to. Furthermore, nobody avoids the subway because of aggressive white Wall Street guys.

The movie tries to justify it, I guess, because it tries to tie it into Joker's 'class war' angle, but it seems a really strange scene in hindsight, especially when compared to the scene in The Brave One. It's weird seeing white guys in suits in that setting behaving like that, and I can't unsee it now.

And it got me thinking... I don't think I've seen black people portrayed like that in many films made recently. It feels like a conversation was had at some point and for some reason that just stopped and now all of the badly behaved, threatening, bullying people you see in movies are white.

I don't know. Perhaps I don't watch enough movies?

The funniest thing about Joker was that left critics saw this movie as a right wing incel movie.

It was set int the 80's and it criticized the closing of Asylums which was done by Reagan because the places were shit holes. There is a massive garbage the big garbage strikes in NYC happened under Lindsay who was originally a Republican and switched parties midway thru his time as mayor. Thomas Wayne is a Trump type guy and is portrayed as an asshole. As you pointed out the people "oppressing" Arthur were usually white guys even when it made no sense. The reaction to the film really showed how no one really knows history.

At the beginning of the movie Arthur is making the little kid laugh and the black mom was being a bitch. Closet thing I can think of.
 
Niggers and animals should never be together. Niggers backyard breed shitbulls and kill and abuse horses. Kill all animal abusing niggers. ESPECIALLY the Chicago ones that are too stupid to connect the dots that if you shape up, save pennies, be a decent fucking....sub-human(?) And you can move out so no more Dick-queefos get shot.

I haven’t watched a newer movie in a long time, but TV shows have been doing this for a while now. I still like a good police procedural but you are lucky if you see one nigger getting arrested. It’s usually “gang members” of dubious brown or white skin. Or like you said, it’s some white guy and it makes no sense why this person is committing said crime.

If you watch some shows like Law & Order or even Chicago PD from season 1, the contrast is BLEAK.
 
Niggers are some of the most fragile beings on this planet. A simple word triggers them so much it can lead to them killing. I've been called every derogatory word under the sun for "white straight male". I laugh because I've graduated 5th grade.

They were sexually harassing a woman, to me it made me think of cases like Brock Turner where some rich white boy almost got away with rape because he was a good swimmer or w/e. "Affluenza" was the word, right? I think that's what the movie was going for.

Duh, that’s why they can only win fights by sucker punching, 20v1s, and kicking someone in the head when they are already on the ground. They get all in their feelings over perceived disrespect and act all “gangsta” only when their opponent is outnumbered.
 
Yep, they're always tough in groups. But single them out, they're all mouth and fronting.

In Europe a few years ago (work, I go back and forth a lot and am there now) I took the bus back to my hotel from the office. There was a young (12?) white European kid and 4 straight off the boat Somali "keeds' (probably 17) harassing this kid. Hearing this, I got up and walked up to him and in the best Euro-trash I could speak I said, "Hey! I didn't know you were on the bus!". Instantly the niggers sat down.

Poor kid was scared, so I followed him home. The niggers followed waiting for a chance for me to leave. They pick on the weaker and feel like they're some kind of tough guy.

I'm not saying that white people don't do things like that, but they generally don't tend to do it in that particular way, in that particular setting. The scene in Joker looks really weird when you watch it right after The Brave One scene. It's not just the same behaviour, it's the same mannerisms. It's the same sort of movement, even, the way they hang from the subway bars... It's really strange.

It literally looks like someone went to ChatGPT or something and said, "Replace all the niggers with white men in suits."
