I've said it before but it's worth repeating; I'm so tired of everything white people do being villanized. If they move in it's gentrification, if they move out it's white flight, if they try to be the perfect ally it's white guilt. Nothing is ever enough except rolling over and dropping dead. Living there during the riots in 2016 and then everything that happened in 2020 really opened my eyes to how many people who lived in close proximity to me really hated whitey. It completely undid the brainwashing about the summer of 1967 along with white flight.
