Yuktobanian honey pots aside, I'm more curious how Sotoa managed to field an army, send it over a large ocean safely, and rapidly conquer and occupy almost an entire nation larger then itself. And then lose everything to a single carrier group, probably almost as rapidly. AC wars make no sense.
Also despite losing the Lighthouse War, Erusea got back all their lost territories from 2005. They also overthrew their monarchy again.

It's actually transported by the cargo arsenal bird things, the one from the announcement trailer has a bow piece for the land battleship. I guess this makes the Sotoans the ultimate practitioners of Air Mech Strike.
Got some actual gameplay from today's trailer. Some takeaways:
- They still get people who play on journalist controls for these teasers for some reason
- You can now deal damage to and destroy large superweapons by attacking their main body instead of just their targetable sub-components
- Destroyed planes can break apart and kill things they fall on, including other planes. They show this off with a destroyed cargo arsenal bird's detached wing falling onto another cargo aircraft below it and instantly killing it
- Looks like AC:Zero style ace squadron intros are returning
ACF also got the chance to try a demo of the game and has reported back on it.
My bet is on Queen dying early on. Joker's a wildcard in some card games, and it would track with the Sotoan woman shuffling a deck of cards in some of the teasers. [I was mistaken, Queen is another squadron.]
