Don't. Ross has a lot of goodwill towards the farms and Null, and this would just give his tranny orbiters ammo. He's never weighed in on the most sensitive/controversial subjects (as far as normalfaggotry goes), sticking firmly to what is relevant to him and his fanbase. Let's keep it that way. Ross is the closest we have to the video game Jesus.
Released from my head, I hope I didn't imply I was asking people spread it across the web!

I'm glad Ross finally made another game dungeon video. Alan Wake is newer and more mainstream than his usual lot but just as deserving. Glad he gives it a dressing down, it is very overrated and the writing is horrible. Potential is there, and you got to wonder if it would have been better if it was an open world game, as is AW is a cookie cutter third person shooter that really wants to be a TV show and from what I saw, AW2 is not only worse in all respects but also woke too, "Alan Woke" if you will. First sign that Remedy were amateur hack that got lucky with Max Payne.

The Evil Dead bit made me think a little, id love if there was a game of the franchise with the gameplay of Resident Evil 4, and some modding because why not. I heard the Xbox games were quite decent but i never tried them.
Well, you're in luck, because there is a RE Evil Dead clone. Kind of, it's mediocre and it's a clone of the old fixed camera tank control PS1 titles, but it exists. Actually, I'm surprised there haven't been any good ED games, I mean the premise is basically tailor made for a good video game but none that I know of ever delivered on the promise. Closest we got was some mid online horror title akin to Dead by Daylight made recently that I am pretty sure shut down.

The problem with Remedy is that they were originally founded by a demoscene group, their entire bread and butter was technical spectacle long before they started game development. That spirit never left the company, even if all of the optimization talent did.

It doesn't help that Sam Lake really wants to be a movie director instead of a game designer, BADLY(even more so than Hideo Kojima or at least just as much), but all he has to his name is Max Payne, and to a lesser extent, Alan Wake. This means that he needs to make mediocre third person games with some 2deep4u narrative twists until the end of time, and experiment with his movie/TV show making ambitions on the side. Remedy really needs to pick a lane, either make good games that are games first again or switch to cinema.

Has he talked about how he finds inspiration for episodes or if he takes suggestions?

I'd really like to see Ross do a video on Two Worlds. I played it not long ago and was thinking the late 2000s RPG jank is right up his alley.

Its a game with a lot of potential but some hilarious execution so think he'd have plenty to talk about.

He said he wants to cover games nobody else really talks about, or at the very least ones he has a lot to say. Two Worlds would be right up his alley, but I am not sure if he will cover it, especially so soon after the Gothic video(by his time, anyways). Warlockracky would be a better person to make a video about a TES adjacent slavjank RPG nobody has ever heard of anyways.
TW is the one where you can finish the game in 6 minutes if you kill the villain(who is not just a random villager at this point in the game but 100% mortal) at the start, right?

Yes that's the one. It's an interesting game, like I said, a lot of potential but the execution is not great. With a bit more work it could have been a cult classic along the lines of a Gothic.

Ross said he will make another video before Christmas, so he hasn't forgotten the tradition. Hopefully, with SKG settled about as well as he could realistically do on his own, 2026 will be the year where the content flow will go back to normal.

he's said in recent livestreams that he intends to do a follow up ep soon and another GUI video in the future, so hopefully we'll see more videos next year.

Place your bets, are we getting an honest to God Christmas game, a snow=Winter=Christmas game, or a game Ross played around Christmas this year. I'm feeling like it's a snow=Winter=Christmas game this year.

You can't tell me it's not the Chud meme

my favorite game dungeons are the ones where ross takes you on a tour through a 90's schizo adventure game's world and this one delivered

it sounded weird hearing Ross laughing
it's not like he is a gloomy guy but i associate him with "WAAAAH!" sounds of frustration

I only remember this game from adds in game magazines in the 90s. Someone gave it a 10/10 and it was plastered all over the add. As a young and impressionable man that had never seen a game get a 10/10, I could not imagine how good that game must be. That was at a time when I still though gaming journalist knew what they were talking about. I'm really happy I never saw the game in any store, I probably would have bought it.

The video was great, I hope Ross can get the rest he deserves after such an eventful year.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Not even five minutes in and Ross is fedposting in Minecraft Normality, wonderful start
