You're right. I'm relatively new to posting and still trying to sort all the bullshit out. Abby is (generally) harmless, and I mean, I am posting on kiwifarms so. Taking things in context is important. Thanks.

I've checked the Facebook group, and I haven't seen a ton of activity yet, but it'll be a matter of time. Maybe I'm on the optimistic end as well but Grover might crawl out from under a rock and start shitting things up again.

Her rapid phase switching and cycling obsessions are definitely something that needs working on, but I can understand why her parents are reluctant to put their foot down, because playing dress up and goofing off on social media for attention isn’t the worst thing she could be doing and it makes her happy.

But that doesn’t excuse Hogg. Will is genuinely detrimental to their daughter’s mental health and progression, and not even a goddamn jail cell can stop him from influencing her. Just because she’s legally over the age of 18, she is obviously still a child, they still have a responsibility to look out for her best interests. Let her buy her outfits and take her photos and cycle through boyfriends to perform for her “fans” on Facebook, but they need to take some real action with the most toxic influence in her life if they ever want to see her make any kind of improvement.

This isn’t his first, he was already on probation, and violated it. I’m not sure about PA but if they revoke his probation he’s liable to go to prison for a year or two, maybe more. But they’re going to assess his risk for reoffending. Honestly it doesn’t look great for Hogg.

This is the worst part, in my opinion. Willie will absolutely relapse unless he gets his shit together after he gets out. Part of getting his shit together is staying away from Abby. You have to get sober to relapse. Hogg has brief periods where I think he stops using, or uses less, but that isn't really sobriety. I feel about Hogg basically the same way I do Luna. I think both of their "aesthetic" calls for drug use. Luna is more glaring about it, but Hogg really seems to like this sad, grimy emo/metal thing. He gets high and talks about Jesus and shit, but ultimately, he has very little interest in changing. I think he genuinely enjoys his pathetic life.

I'm also about 90% sure this isn't Hoggs first DUI. He's been on Live with Abby before, obviously intoxicated and driving. Last year he wrecked a car driving while he was high. Hogg is a menace and a danger and needs to be kept off the roads before he kills someone.

If I’m reading the charge sheet correctly then it’s the second time (he’s been caught). I imagine they’ll be less lenient this time, especially if he’s still on probation. Is there a drug court in his area? Is there a possibility they’ll mandate rehab rather than prison, especially if he can claim opioid pill abuse following a legitimate prescription in his past?

As for Abby, I would hope this is the point at which her parents decide to intervene, but how would they even go about it? She’s had no real boundaries for so long.

This is a good situation for all involved though, for starters a piece of shit drug addict and unrepentant intoxicated driver is off the streets and away from the public so that’s a positive, and if he’s sentenced to a lengthy stay in jail he’ll get clean whether he wants to or not and hopefully Abby will be forced to stay away from his influence.

Definitely a little MOTI, but I have zero tolerance for drunk drivers, especially repeat offenders. Having bad luck one night and being pulled over after a couple beers isn’t the same as repeatedly driving around high off your man tits, especially after already wrecking one car.
