US 9/11: A Conspiracy Theory

On the morning of September 11, 2001, 19 men armed with boxcutters directed by a man on dialysis in a cave fortress halfway around the world using a satellite phone and a laptop directed the most sophisticated penetration of the most heavily-defended airspace in the world, overpowering the passengers and the military combat-trained pilots on 4 commercial aircraft before flying those planes wildly off course for over an hour without being molested by a single fighter interceptor.

These 19 hijackers, devout religious fundamentalists who liked to drink alcohol, snort cocaine, and live with pink-haired strippers, managed to knock down 3 buildings with 2 planes in New York, while in Washington a pilot who couldn’t handle a single engine Cessna was able to fly a 757 in an 8,000 foot descending 270 degree corskscrew turn to come exactly level with the ground, hitting the Pentagon in the budget analyst office where DoD staffers were working on the mystery of the 2.3 trillion dollars that Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld had announced “missing” from the Pentagon’s coffers in a press conference the day before, on September 10, 2001.

Luckily, the news anchors knew who did it within minutes, the pundits knew within hours, the Administration knew within the day, and the evidence literally fell into the FBI’s lap. But for some reason a bunch of crazy conspiracy theorists demanded an investigation into the greatest attack on American soil in history.

The investigation was delayed, underfunded, set up to fail, a conflict of interest and a cover up from start to finish. It was based on testimony extracted through torture, the records of which were destroyed. It failed to mention the existence of WTC7, Able Danger, Ptech, Sibel Edmonds, OBL and the CIA, and the drills of hijacked aircraft being flown into buildings that were being simulated at the precise same time that those events were actually happening. It was lied to by the Pentagon, the CIA, the Bush Administration and as for Bush and Cheney…well, no one knows what they told it because they testified in secret, off the record, not under oath and behind closed doors.

It didn’t bother to look at who funded the attacks because that question is of “little practical significance“. Still, the 9/11 Commission did brilliantly, answering all of the questions the public had (except most of the victims’ family members’ questions) and pinned blame on all the people responsible (although no one so much as lost their job), determining the attacks were “a failure of imagination” because “I don’t think anyone could envision flying airplanes into buildings ” except the Pentagon and FEMA and NORAD and the NRO.

The DIA destroyed 2.5 TB of data on Able Danger, but that’s OK because it probably wasn’t important.

The SEC destroyed their records on the investigation into the insider trading before the attacks, but that’s OK because destroying the records of the largest investigation in SEC history is just part of routine record keeping.

NIST has classified the data that they used for their model of WTC7’s collapse, but that’s OK because knowing how they made their model of that collapse would “jeopardize public safety“.

The FBI has argued that all material related to their investigation of 9/11 should be kept secret from the public, but that’s OK because the FBI probably has nothing to hide.

This man never existed, nor is anything he had to say worthy of your attention, and if you say otherwise you are a paranoid conspiracy theorist and deserve to be shunned by all of humanity. Likewise him, him, him, and her. (and her and her and him).

Osama Bin Laden lived in a cave fortress in the hills of Afghanistan, but somehow got away. Then he was hiding out in Tora Bora but somehow got away. Then he lived in Abottabad for years, taunting the most comprehensive intelligence dragnet employing the most sophisticated technology in the history of the world for 10 years, releasing video after video with complete impunity (and getting younger and younger as he did so), before finally being found in a daring SEAL team raid which wasn’t recorded on video, in which he didn’t resist or use his wife as a human shield, and in which these crack special forces operatives panicked and killed this unarmed man, supposedly the best source of intelligence about those dastardly terrorists on the planet. Then they dumped his body in the ocean before telling anyone about it. Then a couple dozen of that team’s members died in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan.

The actual, true video, that showed the 5-11 odd seconds cut from the start that clearly showed the core collapse happening prior to the total collapse had been viewed about 300,000 times.

My point is the report on WTC 7 tower clearly indicated how the core collapsed and how and how this later brought down the whole building. Not a single person I spoke to who claimed to have read the WTC 7 tower collapse were familiar with unedited video, but claimed they had read the NIST information.

Also not a single person I spoke to about the primary WTC's collapse seemed to understand that heated metal (not melted metal) depending on temperature reduced the strength of the steel by a tremendous factor, they only considered if the metal had been melted and ergo only were looking for materials, combustibles and temperatures that could melt metal.

I also read the entire WTC report, and not one single person I spoke to claiming these fantastic theories, had read it at all.

So I stopped talking to people seeking the truth long ago on this subject, because they weren't really looking for truth, they were looking for confirmation bias and didn't really, research shit.

I'm a hobby blacksmith, it is true that even just heating up steel to red hot temperatures greately reduces it's strenght and at that point it behaves more like playdough than it does like steel. However, this still doesn't explain everything else about the collapse. This is not how a sudden, systemic failure happens. Or how about all of the other sketchy shit regarding the attack that I laid out above? I never see shills tackle those points, they all focus on the "but muh melting =/= buckling" like that changes anything in terms of the grander conspiracy.

Jamie Gorelick was a primary member of the 9/11 commission. Prior to this, she led the push to isolate various law enforcement and intelligence agencies from each other, so they could not share data.

I do think the pentagon stretches belief a tad tbh, but I watched that second plane hit the WTC on TV and I don’t buy any of the AI/GCI stuff for New York. Some fucker flew planes into them. The pentagon? I can believe that was a missile.
Was there a lot of shenanigans before, during and after? Yes I’ll believe that - things like it being used to usher in the patriot act, documents going missing, money being sent all over, people maybe having an inkling something was going to happen, and the war on terror? I remember hearing many times as a kid that the building could have survived being hit by a smaller plane and understanding how little material is there to support the structure of the building in the case of that scenario i think it's safe to assume that literally the entire construction of the WTC was one giant LARP

Anyone who's studied materials science or metallurgy even briefly knows that the crystalline structure of alloy metals like steel is temperature-dependent and that the practical engineering characteristics of the metal, including its tensile strength, are wholly dependent upon that crystalline structure.

Anyone who's watched an episode of Forged In Fire actually already knows this. If you take a big piece of steel at room temperature and try to hammer it into a sword, the results will be stupid and comical, because room-temperature steel will not hammer out into a sword. It is too strong and brittle. If anything, you will chip bits of it away. Heat the steel up to a temperature far lower than the melting point, though, and the metal becomes ductile and comparatively easy to hammer out into a shape.

When steel is heated by, say, an explosion from an aircraft or a building fire that starts burning the synthetic, petroleum-based carpets and other flammable portions of the building, the forces of the building itself become the "hammer" reshaping it into something different...which inevitably is much less structural and cannot stand on its own.

There is less material difference between a missile and an aircraft loaded with fuel than one would think. The structure (outside the wings and tail) is more similar than different. The more interesting aspect of the pentagon strike was the flying involved. Getting that particular plane low enough to hit the building at the level and the angle it did was not (IMO) an easy thing to do.

The trade center is a different set of issues mostly about the building minimizing the amount of steel in the design of the building. The structure itself was overall rather fragile by design.

On 9/11, I worked for what could best be described as a conspiracy theory-heavy alternative newspaper (of the sort that simply doesn't exist in the 21st century).

Our executive editor and our managing editor were both major conspiracy guys, and the first time I heard "jet fuel doesn't melt steel beams" was 9/13/2001. By chance, I had recently come through a program where I was shown around a materials science and engineering department by a bunch of experienced engineers, who showed us (among other things) little steel cylinders being pulled apart by these giant machines that tested their strength. Changing the temperature and crystalline structure changed it completely. I'd also, by that point, had years of experience with candy-making/confectionery, which is in its way an education on thermal impacts on crystallization and the resulting changes to the property of the material...in this case sugar, not steel. If you've watched a sugar syrup turn from watery to "string" to "soft ball" to "hard ball" to "crack," and particularly if you've ever had to reheat a bad batch, many of the same principles become self-evident.

I explained this to them, and even made some fudge and hard candy in the process to give them and illustrate some of how crystalline structure impacts strength, but while they enjoyed the confections they also really, really enjoyed being "in the know" about some secret plan normies couldn't understand.

Eventually, what was more fun was to just add layers to the conspiracy theory, because they would not be talked out of even the most obvious parts where it was flawed. If they had been more intellectually honest about accepting explanations for even some of what they initially found suspicious, it would have been easier to accept some of their beliefs about parts of it that seemed surface-level reasonable and I didn't have specific personal knowledge where I could speak to it. But when the parts you know something about don't check out and they won't back down, it's hard to believe the same person's only plausibly-true information about topics you have no real understanding of.

ive personally had the opposite experience where i thought this was accepted by the entire world at large.
i watched this (what i assumed was a pretty mainstream because it had over a million views) documentary about 9/11 being fake when i was 15 or 16 and i got kind of obsessed with it and asked all my teachers what they thought, and they werent eager to talk about it but said in so many words that it was clearly george bush and a pentagon coverup, and one of them had even watched the same documentary as me. i mean if the wrong person heard this convo go down they could've been fired so they didnt discuss it with me at length, it was like a 20 second hushed conversation. later on when I got addicted to the Internet generally everywhere i went had 9/11 deniers even if i wasn't the one bringing it up. and more recently, mobile phone retards are getting the moon landing didn't happen kind of videos in their tiktok algorithims.
i thought this was a done deal that it's fake.

It was/is very blackpilling to me as a teenager and throughout my whole life, and would make me wonder why the government even bother with psyops like making Ubisoft games woke. they can blow up buildings and shoot m60s at people out of windows and nobody cares, if they get caught people will whisper about it in hushed voices and life goes on.
