I'm sure by now Chris has been advised as far as a plea deal goes. He's had his preliminary hearing, from what I understand, so that makes tomorrow his arraignment. I've actually been arrested for third-degree felony theft, but I was released on recognizance in exchange for agreeing to a diversionary program; 20 hours of service and some fees and they'll drop the charges completely.

But the thing is that I don't have a history of trouble with the law. This ain't Chrissy's first rodeo. That being said, I think it's likely he's en route to a diversionary program; they're not going to throw the book at him.

So tomorrow, Virginia shits herself and puts Chris on probation and Chris shits himself and continues to dress like that woman who lives at the Rite-Aid.
 
Thinking back, the whole Snyder incident 3 years ago seems far worse of an assault than this one. I'm not sure either myself if Chris is going to face time in jail, TBH.
 
I think it could've been reasonably argued that Chris didn't intend to hit Snyder, but did so in a blind panic. I suspect that's not true, but I believe his crime could've been looked at as a product of negligence and a disruption in judgment brought on by an escalating conflict.

That nobody was following Chris or getting in his way as he sprayed his mace in the store leaves little room for interpretation. Plus, Snyder, if I'm remembering correctly, urged the prosecution to pursue a lesser charge than they'd originally intended. Chris can't count on Ass Manager to do the same, not that the victim should be obligated to. It's still unlikely he's going to do time, but I think he's going to be a bit more inconvenienced this time around.

As far as the continuances go, there's no limit to them, but the number of continuances so far could mean one of 2 things...

1. It's a much more serious case than we think. Felony cases can be continued for years if the judge thinks its needed for the defense to build a proper case. This could mean jailtime if convicted, or something more severe than just a slap on the wrist.

2. Each time it occurred, the judge that morning took one look at Chris, and decided he just did not want to deal with it that day.
 
I hope the "reporter" is there again.
If she does write her fluff piece, she should come here to ask questions.
Does anybody else remeber how that went down with Reuban during the Deagle Nation Shitstorm?
 
Im hoping chris with his new hair color and hobo chic look will cause the judge to say fuckit and lock him up or with the current lgbt shit goin down he might apologize to chris lock up the gamestop guy and give chris money or someshit. Either way I hope something happens today regardless of what result it is.

The eternal continuence must end at somepoint right? Right?
 
I'm already at the court house. I saw Chris pass by, looking for parking. But he didn't take the one that was available. Did he notice me?
