C'mon Chris. Get into the Christmas spirit. Repierce it with a jingle bell! :tomgirl:

Okay now you're just giving OPL even more horrible ideas. As much as I want to laugh, I'm going to have to agree with everybody that this isn't really something we should joke much about since OPL's life is at risk at this rate.

The general consensus is that he did indeed have it done, but we can't be 100% sure unless we have evidence.

You really want to know? You'd have to ask Thetan but shes very reluctant about this.

such a bad idea on so many levels. I usually refuse to re-pierce even the same general area for a minimum of 3 months, but it's a case by case decision. If it's 'gold' i'm assuming its gold coloured titanium, but then again the piercer both used unsuitable jewellery(in my opinion, but its a well informed one) and repierced it so soon. So who knows what it could be. Gold is very unsuitable for anything but very well healed piercings due to the amount of nickel in it. Purer gold is too soft and wears down easier, and harder, but less pure gold is full of nickel. Which is just a guaranteed problem.

Piercing Chris anywhere would be a chore at the best of times, and im sure any advice would be taken the same as all the other advice in his life is(i'm not a-logging here), but money speaks I suppose. Still I'd rather refuse it than do a piercing I know is going to fail. Money isn't everything,

I think someone else said that the jewellery last time was picked by Chris, meaning he's picked the 'stud' for his taint both times. A piercer will likely say something like "ideally you'd want a curved bar/bell" or something but Chris doesn't give a fuck what anyone else has to say because he believes he knows best. Chris isn't going to tell them anything more than that it WAS infected and that it isn't now. Any splitting that happened during the migration will likely still be there; maybe healed a little and maybe not.

But remember, we don't KNOW that Chris already got it done. All we know is that he's bought the "gold" piercing and that he planned to get it re-done. Until Chris himself says that he's gotten it down or sends pictures to Renee or someone, I'd say that everyone just assume it's not done yet.

Good points 4Macie, I can picture trying to convince him that a particular piece of jewellery he picked was wrong and just hitting a brick wall. I can see him jabbing away with a safety pin again, red, raw, swollen flesh soaked in rubbing alcohol...
No matter what he says though, any experienced piercer will be able to see the truth etched in his skin. I always can tell when some young girl for example, has 'an infection' and 'didnt do anything...it just went like that' .....which translates to '
I was taking it in and out repeatedly (with unwashed hands) and trying to hide it, jabbing and forcing the blunt end through the hole over and over because I had to hide it from my mum'

If he did get it repierced in the same vicinity, after migration etc, then there's just no way it will be anything but a problem for him. Skin is an amazing piece of organic technology, but it takes time to fully heal. And he has been abusing that area in so many ways so it's the last thing it needs right now. I'm sure i'm not the only one who reckons he has been tribbing some inanimate thing and telling himself he had gratifying lesbian sex.

Nobody's going to convince him. Might as well stop that conversation. You know how he is. We should all know because, for the love of fuck, we post on a message board dedicated to him. His junk will fall off and then, maybe, he'll be proactive. Mainly because it will hurt and we know he can't take pain. Chris has a vision. And of all the shit in his crappy life right now, this is one thing he can make come true, money, infection and good advice be damned.

I was actually glad to see the photo (I know, I know) if only because it cleared up the issue of where it was. Chris correctly said it was his taint, but then said it was where a clitoris would be so that threw me (and plenty of others) off.

But then the infected one? Although I had wondered wtf he meant by 'it looks like a labia', I had just thought because it was swelled up. Nope. He has a literal gash from the piercing. GodJesus and the Bear, have mercy on his soul, and on ours.

I had a surface piercing at 15 (naval) and it rejected, as in the piercing was pushed to the surface until it came out. Even though I badly wanted to get another piercing to defy my mother, I realised that if my body rejected that one, it would probably reject any others so I didn't do it. I can understand persisting with a piercing (I got my second lobe holes done twice and my nose done three times before both were unproblematic) but you wait until the skin has healed, even when there isn't an infection. If anyone pierces that infected skin, they shouldn't be qualified.

No one's going to determine that Chris is retarded after a five minute meeting. We know better because we have a wiki on the man. To them, Chris is just a weirdo who wanted to give a failed piercing another try. Perfectly acceptable.
Plus, if someone is asking for a taint piercing then they are probably at least on the border of retardation anyway.

ye gods!
I just realized. If I lived across the street from Chris and watched him all the time , it would not be nearly as entertaining as reading the cwckiforums where, unfenced by rules of evidence and unfettered by actual facts, unbridled imaginations are ridden bareback in any and every direction every single day.

Is saying that this endangers his life a bit over the top?

Surely he can get an infection, but would it be that dangerous? Would it not be merely very, very painful and uncomfortable for him?

I suppose we have a fair idea of what goes on behind closed doors. Not saying everyone is as interesting as him, but i'm sure we all would enjoy being a fly on the wall in people's houses.

Has he mentioned anything about the piercing interfering with his new form of mass debiting other that what Renee said?

WTF man! Now you came up with a worse mental image than me mentioning him getting excited over his first period that happens to be his infected taint bleeding!

:cryblood:

Yeah and that guy is a "serious academic researcher"...

If Chris hadn't taken out the first piercing, I'm very confident he would've died.

No, it would take a substantial infection to put his life at risk. I've rarely seen or indeed had infections so bad that even a course of penicillin based antibiotics was required.

Not to say poor hygiene, living conditions and a weak immune system couldn't make things pretty bad for him.

Chris would go septic. He never would put the connection between his piercing and feeling sick on his own. Barb would have to take him to the hospital and it'd probably be too late by then. (Or a really close call.)

Things have gotten grosser than need be, and it is showing up in reports regularly. The shock has to have worn off by now, so it's time for us all to move on to other, probably equally unproductive things.
