In the interest of christine's health, I wonder if someone could convince her to go see a gynecologist under the guise of it being for a yearly health check and pap smear.

I'd suggest he cleans himself with bleach.
While far from ideal and not at all recommended, a diluted bleach solution can be used to clean infected wounds. A vet once told me that's how she treated all the minor occupational injuries from misbehaving cats at her clinic... why she wouldn't just use soap and water or an anti-bacterial agent designed expressly for that purpose is beyond me.

She made no mention of the benefits of ingesting undiluted bleach but I'm pretty sure it's OK, I've seen lots of reliable posts on tumblr about it so it must be legit.

You should really only use an eye droplet of bleach and water if it's the really concentrated stuff. Some still use a pint for fecal contamination but all it really does is make the air burn the eyes.

Anyways it's pretty telling when a mouse learns from its mistakes more than Chris ever will in his life.

Although this seriously can hurt if you use too much of it, a tiny bit of Hydrogen peroxide also sterilises wounds pretty fast. It does a better job than isopropyl alcohol, that's for sure, but you'd have to make sure that whatever implement you use to clean off the foam that results (H2O2 plus Catalase = H2O and O2) was clean, as otherwise you might as well be scrubbing yourself with a dirty rag.

Honestly, none of these cleaning methods would really make the wound heal any faster, I think. I'm pretty sure that the only thing doctors could do to get rid of the wound would be to excise any infected tissue, then clean the wound up, stitch it shut and then administer a course of antibiotics.

.

Hydrogen peroxide works only if you have actual dirt or debris in your brand new wound. Otherwise it just eats away the developing tissue and can leave a scar if you keep using it.

You're not really aiming to make a wound sterile, though. It's not going to stay that way for more than seconds. You're aiming to reduce the amount of bad bacteria without damaging anything required for healing. A lot of wound care is about preventing additional nasties getting into the wound and creating the right environment for natural healing.

Chris could see 5 different doctors and be given 5 different wound care routines all of which were equally valid. The most realistic one for him to follow is low cost and low effort, even if that means healing takes longer.

As an outpatient, his options are somewhat limited by what types of care the government will pay for and I doubt they're going to pay for hydrogels and wound films.

"Yes, there will be pain as my new labia split. Of course there will be blood and discharge; it's currently transforming from a wound into a real set of labia/vagina. The hole will lengthen over time so it's natural for it to get larger. Oh, and any pain I'm feeling inside my pelvic region is just the discomfort of my ovaries and uterus growing in. No one is going to understand that since I'm the FIRST to do this successfully."
:autism: is a hell of a drug. :c

The frightening thing is this is probably his exact mindset, too. I'm honestly surprised something like this hasn't severely sickened and/or killed him sooner.

Chris didn't disable comments on his new channel.

People are bringing up the wound. I wonder how long until he blocks comments.

Training day for new officers at the Ruckersville PD must be interesting. Imagine being the veteran cop who has to explain to the rookie about the Chandlers, why they get calls at all hours of the day, and who JULAAAAYYYYY is.

Someone is mistaking caring with wanting to be part of the action

I wonder if they have to undergo sensitivity training now, I can just imagine their supervisor telling the trainees to ignore stubble and balding in the hopes of not getting sued, and to use preferred pronouns.

Chris is likely quite mild compared to some of the crazy they deal with. He's probably the baby step example they use to ease the newbies into dealing with the real crazies.

100 pages.

I think we need the DRINK rating activated for this thread, because lord knows I need something stiff after reading all of this.
