I'm not familiar with how the healthcare system works over there but could Chris have just talked with a nurse or pharmacist without being actually examined? Played the whole thing down, just said he had a chafing wound between his legs and gotten the ointment from someone blissfully unaware of how bad the situation actually is? I just can't fathom a medical professional actually laying eyes on it without going all Dr. Henry Armitage on it.

I hate to powerlevel but my wife had a very similar wound on her leg and when she went to the doctors she was placed on antibiotics, had blood tests and eventually had plastic surgery to patch it up. Can't believe any doctor would be so Blasé especially when they know of Chris's autism and lack of hygiene.

I'm also calling BS on a "doctor" that told him to put ointment on it. Chances are it's more WebMD than actually seeing a quack. I imagine a real doctor would at minimum clean it out (it being full of bacteria since Chris has presumably been sticking stuff up there), possibly with a saline solution, and then bandage it up. Ointment would probably be on the list with instructions on how it could properly heal. I suppose it's possible that Chris took off the bandages and disregarded the instructions, but then we would probably hear about him being huffy that a doctor "tried to close my beautiful china" or some nonsense along those lines.

I say that the only reason he's switched to some sort of ointment is the last remaining piece of his sanity trying to tell him that this is in fact a big problem, but can also suggest putting Neosporin on it, which isn't going to work (for big wounds they'll prescribe something else and recommend against the OTC stuff...I know because I caused a major injury to a finger recently...:powerlevel:)

My opinion on what Chris is or isn't capable of mentally changes back and forth all the time.
On one hand this is a guy who drives a car, and has done for over a decade without any major accidents. A guy who attended college and has a degree. On the other hand we have a guy who believes he is a world famous author with curse powers that has arch enemies.
 
I've been reading all of this, just haven't bothered to log in for a while, but I had to post to say this is probably the most I've ever been disturbed by CWC. It's like a Junji Ito story come to life, haha.

Chris is aware enough to recognize certain patterns that are critical to his survival and he's aware that he's forced to react to them. I think that Chris is capable, but he's slower to react than most people.

Chris makes himself believe that someone or something else is responsible when he acts shitty, that's how he does mental gymnastics. I don't think that he would believe it's a vagina, unless he is getting batshit and we're just finding out

Some of my ideas about Chris go back and forth sometimes, because he always finds a new way to prove people wrong. He's unpredictable
 
This definitly explains why Chris was so convinced his hypnosis videos were working, he saw what in his mind was a vagina slowly forming, so in his retarded mind obviously it was working

Oh god. All of a sudden, that famous drawing by Ito which features the woman missing half her head for a spiral came into my head, except in the context we have here with CWC, it turns into something extra-horrifying.

That was one of the first things I ever read on Chris and it had me laughing for days straight. Idk, I guess you live long enough you'll meet people who believe just about anything; Ghosts, monsters, magi-vag hypno vids. Some of those vids aren't too bad for white noise ambiance, but I'm going to say anyone who believes they're magical or something needs to get help.

Seriously ? Being able to drive a car without any accident isn't indicative of any mental prowess. It's literally the bare minimum for anyone driving a car. And it took six years for Chris to complete a degree you're expected to get in two. A degree he hasn't ever bothered to use to seek gainful employment, mainly because he has no idea what said fucking degree is for.

So no, what Chris is mentally capable of is consistently low. He's an idiot. An autistic idiot, but an idiot still.

To be perfectly fair, he technically is world (in)famous. There are Chris fans on this very forum from all over the world.

I agree with so much of what you're saying about Chris, but why are you acting like he's never said that he thinks this is a vagina? In his introductory status update he talked on and on about this like it was a great achievement, one which he would get a lot of positive attention for, not a horrific wound.

Chris has specifically told Marvin he knows it's a wound now, which isn't surprising after the influx of attention he received from people telling him he needed to get it checked out, but no one, even Marvin is denying that he didn't consider it to be a vagina at the start. He even told you as much in the text messages he sent you.

I mentioned in an earlier post that I didn't understand everything. When I first saw the thread, I actually thought someone was still talking about the old unclit. Then I had everything pointed out to me. I feel stupid now, no need to say anything

I contacted Chris and he acknowledged the thing as a wound, not a vagina. Then later he said it was a vagina, then people didn't know if he had a doctor's visit or not, but I know he did have one.

I keep wondering what the charlatans who put out that subliminal tape nonsense would think of this. Would they drop the act and admit it's crap to get him to the hospital, or are they so deluded/morally bankrupt that they would congratulate him and tell him their aural witchcraft was effective?
