I see a lot of people with knowledge of the surgery and hormone treatments disproving Phil lie.

All we ever needed to say on the matter is
"Surgeons don't sew up the area with a pinworm"

To be honest, I don't think any ethical doctor would ever attempt to operate on a patient when parasites/infections are present. They would give the patient medication to kill the parasite/infection, then schedule the surgery for a later date, preferrably once it has cleared up.
