22/07/16 Munich Terrorist Attack

not much info yet but some kind of major police op in Germany. Rumors of a Gunman.

• At least six people have been killed and an unknown number injured in a shooting in Munich. Police have referred to the incident as a terror attack.
  
• At 5.52pm, gunshots were fired at a McDonald’s near the Olympia shopping centre (OEZ) in the northern Moosach area of the Bavarian capital.
  
• A video appears to show one of the gunman on the rooftop carpark of the shopping centre.
  
• A major police operation is underway. Police have said that up to three suspects armed with rifles are being hunted. No one has been arrested so far and officials have no indication of the attackers’ whereabouts.
  
• Police have said all shoppers have now left the shopping centre.
  
• The German government has set up a crisis response unit.
  
• Residents have been warned via Munich’s smartphone warning system to avoid public places, stay in their homes where possible and turn on the TV and radio.
  
• Munich central station and underground system is closed and has been evacuated. Motorists on the motorway into Munich have been asked to clear the road for police and emergency service vehicles.
  
• Hospitals throughout Munich are on emergency alert and in “catastrophe mode”.

• No claim of responsibility has been made and there is no indication so far of the attackers’ motives.

They have reworded "Do we know if he had outside help or training" abut 7 times now, and every time the police guy keeps saying "We are in the first stages, we are still trying to identify his family and contacts, if you have information or video please send it to us"

Looking at the video that was posted here earlier and with the confirmation that it involves the shooter, this guy is pretty certainly second Generation. His German was very good, he had no discernable accent.

Real Explanation: Radicalized Islamist(s), probably second generation, who pledged some kind of allegiance to ISIS before the attack.
Government Report: Aggravated Individual with a strong anti-German EU bias.

You might find this hard to believe, but in Germany, islamistic attacks aren't sugarcoated like what happened with Orlando or Bernadino.
It really depends on the politicians, unsurprisingly, the worst offenders are libtard dimwits like Claudia Roth. What most politicians have in common is that they always underline how an islamistic attack isn't really connected to the "TRUE and HONEST Islam" or some bullshit, but they wouldn't make up completely idiotic reasons for an attack and instead still call it what it was.

After all, Media, police and politicians alike already said this was most likely an islamistic attack.
What I'm trying to say: If you want to criticise Germany's behaviour, please do so with something that's actually happening. There's plenty of legitimate things wrong about this country, but it's not Sweden.

The problem is, its just too easy to say its her fault. What if she would have said there wont be any refugees in germany?

Maybe ISIL would have gotten 1000 more suicide bombers. In such a crisis, everything you do is wrong. Fighting fire with fire has never been the solution. But I still get what you want to say. I am very angry, since I have family in munich. They are allright, but still...

I see the refugees in my town and think to myself, half of them sits everyday at the train-station drinking beer. The other half tries to do something with there lives, many syrians are well trained people. Then I see how many of them just cannot cope with the fact young girls like to wear short skirts and show skin (I like that).

But the biggest problem for them is when these girls have a middle-eastern background (talking arabic or turkish or whatever while on the phone). Then young immigrants dont want to shake hands with their female teachers and so on.

The whole situation is just sad, and I predict europe will drift apart, with populistic - right-wing parties on the rise.

I saw one video here where someone talked to the shooter from his balcony.

It says that the shooter indeed said "I am german" as an answer to the guy from the balcony (guy from balcony was apparently "bad mouthing".) Other articles conclude he also did indeed research mass shootings.

The conclusion of some people (dont have a aquote here) is that he was frustrated to be viewed as aforeigner because of his iranian descent.


The saddest part will be the discussion about gun-control and the (presumed) fact it wasnt "terror" from radical people.
Some people are happy its not an religious thing (comments on facebook and spiegel.de)

One positive thing is that police in Germany obviously reacted pretty well.
