They are not like us, and the more difficult living becomes in the UK, the more those bonds of social tolerance are going to be stretched. They are already under a lot of tension. That's not going to get better. The political movement that does the best in the next ten, fifteen, years will be the one who figures out how to tack best into that wind.
Problem is that multiculturalism failed to take into account that certain cultural beliefs are incompatible. And at the risk of sounding like a PragerU subscriber, the same is true of intersectionality.

The only real way is to ensure countries have a dominant culture that is expressed, taught and upheld. And if the dominant culture conflict with one of the new cultures that enters in, the dominant culture is always right.

Can we deport southerners back to the south?

What a prophetic day for us Brits, we watch as an already shitty government gets shitter while one of our former colonies celebrate its independence.

Looks like Ashfield is getting ready to declare, this will be a test of reform's seat winning potential.

I would care about a Labour government being terrible, but as loads have said, can't really be any worst than what the torys have been up to in recent year.

Dumb woman doesn't know why she doesn't like reform other than "they're scary".

Darlington gone Labour from Conservatives, with Conservatives close 2nd and Reform 3rd.

If it's any consolation, we're doing that celebration in the middle of one of our two main parties dealing with an absolute revolt from its donor class while the other has mostly gone radio silent hoping no one notices that, even with this revolt going on, it's still a coin toss whether voters would prefer a literal invalid puppet over our version of Reform being in office.

So did Lib Dems lose all their support or something? Not even coming up as a blip now.
Seats tend to be either heavily Labour or heavily lib dem with little for the other in that area. Partially due to tactical voting.

It's the reason the lib dems will get a much lower national vote share than reform but will pick up a lot more seats.

Reform are apparently now the BNP...

> "We have to follow through on what we promise and win back the trust of the voters"
> mocks the voters she's saying they need to win back in a really condescending way.

Ashfield: Reform win. Labour 2nd. 34% swing from the conservatives.

This was projected for Reform though and uh it wasn't even really close.

So I don't know what's going on now.
Yep. The exit poll had Dan Jarvis going down, and he's retained handily with around an 8k majority.

It will be remarkable if there are seats where the exit polls have overstated Reform votes, rather than under. Bizarro shades of the 1992 exit poll where voters weren't willing to admit they'd voted Tory, leading to some humiliating scenes for Labour through the night.
