With the FPTP winner take all constituency system it's very hard for smaller parties to pick up seats. They're trending towards a 15% vote share and 3 seats, compared with the Conservatives looking at 22% and 102 seats or the lib dems with 12% and 72 seats.

There's no realistic way reform win this.

Labour has a lot of complacency against it - people will lie about voting for Reform, and there seems to be an assumption that anti-Tory means Labour. But the Pakis want Green, the Indians want Tory, the old people probably also want Tory, and most white people are going Reform while planning to "not recognise" anything else.

There's no reason to think anything "normal" is going to happen here.

I reckon Labour has overestimated it, LibDem - fuck knows - and Tory has haemorrhaged to Reform.

Imo, it's most important above all to get the major parties to haemmorage seats. Tories are basically fucked this election so it's easy enough for them. Labour are gonna be in a strong position but with any luck, it won't be as strong and instead the smaller parties will be heavily boosted up.

If the smaller parties have better representation, and a good ol bit of accelerationism helps to kill the existing paradigm, then we may have a hope... eventually...

Brits, how accurate are these polling numbers likely to be?

They're historically a bit all over the place though I'll respect @Coccxys opinion on this one and say perhaps it's accurate.

Exit polls, however, have been very accurate in the past. Those are legally barred from revealing their results until polls closed at which point we find out. So 10pm suddenly we might get a very good picture.

I have two very optimistic positions.

Firstly - the foreign vote gets split by Greens, Lib Dems, Conservatives and Labour all bickering over their votes. Different blocs to different parties - Muslims to Green, Lib Dems get all the fags, Conservatives get the Pajeets and Labour gets the darkies.

Then, the Conservatives lose out much harder to Reform. So you end up with like, five parties, each with 20%.
