Some sources have identified the perpetrator as Abu Izzadeen, a noted muslim extremist preacher who has been stirring shit for years.

The real tragedy is that people are blaming muslims. It's really only like 85% of the time it's muslims doing this so we shouldn't jump to conclusions.

Presumably he's seen footage of the Men in Tights and assumed they were the actual security (rather than observation and ceremonial) and thought he could bum rush one of CO-19's few permanent posts.
