Unstoppable force - 'you cannot tell someone what their gender is' - meets immovable object - 'you cannot tell someone what genders they are attracted to'.
In the end, the unstoppable force usually wins, but not without some uncomfortable implications, like how any straight dude who's been attracted to a non-binary person (regardless of how femme they present) is apparently now queer. And being attracted to two different types of non-binary is enough by itself to be considered bisexual. Lesbians are also at risk of getting reclassified as bisexual if they'll sleep with FTMs but not MTFs.
Gender based attraction never made much sense on the face of it, since this would involve distinct attraction categories for every permutation of non-binary, but when the alternative is acknowledging sex-based attraction, they'll refuse to see reality and insist on the rest of the world adopting their mental model.
I don't even have a witty comment for this. What can I say that the image doesn't say by itself?

I've said before: Elliot Page would be great for playing a prepubescent boy - ideally in a role that requires dramatic heavy lifting above and beyond what a typical child actor would be capable of. There are a lot of Hollywood adults who play children well into their thirties. Why doesn't she? Or would she consider such roles to be beneath her? Beggars can't be choosers. And her character in Umbrella Academy was basically a petulent child anyway.
