crystals and rocks are very pretty. I find them very neat but is the perfect example of something cool that becomes nothing but clutter once piled up like that with a bunch of other similar things. Everything seems to loose its appeal once its just a hoard.

Also, IngloriousLevka11 is a cunt, nobody likes people who do backhanded compliments like that.

It's a lot more impressive to walk into someone's house and see a collection of beautiful, sometimes even rare, natural decorations than an entire wall covered from top to bottom in shelves of dead eyed plastic funko pop abominations

They look pretty, but a fake one is better. Because you don't have to clean the damn thing every time it drips salt.

They make it sound so wonderful, but the reality is that it's just a corporate theme park with overworked, underpaid, disgruntled employees who have to put up with people like Ms. Jabba the Hutt in person all the time. Hell, the fat chick could sit next to a life-size Jabba model and you'd think you're seeing double!

Has anyone ever thought about making a separate thread on people that go to Disney World and ending up buy multiple amounts of products for hundreds of dollars to consume on?

Rather than just go on the rides? Or take pictures with the Mickey Mouse mascot who’s probably getting minimum wage as it is?

I wonder if that's intentional. If you're only eating little snacky-treats that are high in sugar but have a very low nutritional content then you're going to get hungry faster and want to buy more food.

High calorie foods turn people obese, which gets them addicted to food, which makes them consoom more food.

Rinse and repeat, it's why so many people have trouble losing weight, because they're addicted to the sugary shit.

Well, humans are biologically addicted anyway. Because we die without it. So this inflation of making unhealthy food addictive is retarded, because the customers comes anyway. As long as they make good food, but I guess that's the catch. Corporations don't bother to make it good, so they spice it up with addictive stuff. So people come anyway, regardless if it taste like shit. Because cooks have been caught using cocaine in their food

The sugar industry was literally proven to be doing this. They wanted more sugar in foods so they lobbied snack makers and drink companies and such, and then when dentists and doctors started to say "wait a minute, this isn't healthy" they lobbied the dentists and doctors and got their own doctors/dentists to "inform" about how AKSHUALLY sugar isn't that bad for tooth decay and AKSHUALLY sugar has no effect on weight gain, that's all because of fat. The only reason they haven't done even better is because the Corn Lobby started dumping HFCS in everything and because eventually this shit started coming out into the open.

That's why if you're a fat fuck like many of the people featured in this thread are, you'll inevitably end up being a different sort of consoomer by the time you're in your 50s. Enjoy showing all your pill bottles and shit next to your decaying Funko pops and doctor's bills for your recent bypass surgery, paid for in part by healthy people who have to pay extra on their insurance/gubmint healthcare for your fat ass.

I definitely agree, and it's unfortunate this isn't really talked about in the more normie spaces like twitter or facebook instead of people arguing about random bullshit.

It's really important to be healthy, but all these dumb idiots keep pushing for "fat acceptance" meanwhile they're literally killing themselves. I don't feel at all for those fucks, but I do feel for the people their actions directly affect, their children. Especially in recent years there's tons of kids of fat parents who don't know shit about health so therefore the kid gets fat and addicted to the same shitty foods the parent loves, and considering that's all they know in their early years it's really hard for them to get healthy.

I couldn't give one shit if some fat consoomer wants to be "accepted" as long as they dont' affect others (besides finding it funny), but the thing is that they actually do, and that's the saddest part. Of course it's all to the corporate plan of making more people fat and complacent, so it's no skin off the elite's back.
 
I don't know if someone has already mentioned them but the bullet journal and adjacent girls are also amazing consoomers. ¿Feeling guilty for procrastinating? Just fill your room with hundreds of pens/tape/whatever other stationery that you will never actually use, and make a video!

I tried bulletjournal once. Good system if you can stick to it but the great part is you can yse literally any notebook. So of course there's an entire consumer fandom of buying shit for it.

Just do what ever well adjusted office worker does and steal your stationary from the supply closet.
 
I love bullet journaling, I know from personal experience it's easy to fall into this consoomer trap in particular because of its nature as a creative endeavor: you see this wide array of selection and think "well I can't think of any use for this right now, but maybe in the future I'll need this!" And that's how you justify owning over 500 different washi tapes. In my opinion the only valid reason to buy so much stationary is if you actually journal enough to the point you actually find use for every item you buy and run out quickly. There's no good reason to have a stationary hoard, if you let it pile up like that while nothing ever gets used for actual journaling, reevaluate your "hobby."
 
The funniest thing about 'consuming stationary products' is without words on the page the stationary is essentially worthless. The best feeling in a world is a black/white composition notework with pen ink on every page. Thats the feeling they're trying to capture without putting in the effort.
