With literally zero new members from the day stream, I was indeed curious how Phil could push his propaganda of "PLEASE SUB NOW WE ARE SO CLOSE TO THE GOAL" for the night stream

It turned out he just tells you that you have even less time to give him money, so please do!

I really hope YOUTUBE will never have a sub gifting feature. I always thought its one of the scummiest thing twitch does.

Jesus, I'm glad this topic came back up. One of my favorite things about Phil is that weird homunculous attitude he has about being an adult or even a human. Like I love cooking, so the way he approaches food is goddamn fascinating. Because he likes to talk the talk. Barely.

Because last night I tried a new shrimp linguine recipe. And I was eating and thinking about all the flavors and I was like mmmm this is a super delicate sauce. Interesting how I can just barely taste the lemon. But I don't know if I can really taste the wine, or notice what it adds. And then DSPs stupid food tasting face popped into my head. And I had a good laugh on how he would be giving the same thought process to a fucking Quarter Pounder.

One of my favorite things about Phil is the way he acts like a skinwalker pretending to be a human. The way he says shit like "We as humans" and "My mo- uh... Wife is laying on the couch... she's digesting her dinner from earlier dood....*SNRRRT*" I don't even know how to describe it other than just pure otherworldly.
 
That sponsorship rant was fucking amazing. Telling trolls that they're hypocrites for not accepting the consequences of their actions ("you trolled me into having to beg and now you complain that I beg") while he simultaneously complains that trolls always expose his sponsors to his past actions. You can't get much more zero self-awareness than that one.

This is what happens when you have no plan B.

Phil, could have been using his gravy train money, to invest, and better his skills, but instead he chose to just ride it till it disappeared.

Now he is in a spot where, he either has to shill (technically cant since he is too toxic), or beg(Which he can do but again means he has to constantly create more lies).

Yes he could get a job but the job wouldn't be anywhere near how much money he is pulling in now.

All he had to do was budget and be a decent person, two things he hates doing.

Our kind values the immediate gratification, no matter how fleeting the experience is; we don't ask questions about it, if it's known to us to give us the satisfaction of escaping our shit existence in that moment, that's all it takes. Our desire to escape encompasses why we don't want to identify our values/interests/etc. are. We have tripped over our dick dozens of times to realize not to ask the question if you don't want the fucking answer. YMMV, but, that's the best I can condense the explanation.

It was interesting seeing him talk about this today because he so recently expressed the hardline stance about being against sponsorships when he claimed to turn down the Raid sponsorship.

He kept saying things like "These headphones I like, this beverage I like..." and cited Assassins Creed and the Twitch sponsor program as a game he was 'already playing anyway' but got paid extra to pay. He'd just take money for things he already likes, guys!

This is all pure spin of course, deliberately there to ease the cognitive dissonance anyone paying attention should be experiencing. Think about what we've seen...
- The 1Up loot boxes he shit on as being cheap crap after shilling them for years
- The chair he shilled before he actually had it and then later called cheap Chinese crap (he also banned people that said that on the day he revealed it)
- The appearance of FakeSydePhil for the paid segment of Assassins Creed that emphasized how willing he is to bend for money
- The other Twitch sponsor game, ELO Hell, which was lame but he shilled anyway and has now memoryholed
- Mario and Sonic at the Olympics which he got for free, neglected to mention until ragequitting it, and then failed to properly disclose until harassed to do so
- The Hori controller he recently showcased and repeatedly noted in the review things Kat had told him because he was clearly reviewing and shilling a controller he had not used

As usual, the trolls are the only thing keeping him honest. They're just trying to keep him on his righteous path and defend him from the corrupting temptation of sponsors.

Hey truefans, feel sorry for Phil and give him money, he's only doing this because the toxic shit-heads bullied him into it. If it wasn't for them he wouldn't need your help, because he'd have sponsors! Tip to defeat the trolls!

Then when he's feeling cocky again, he'll pontificate about how he's too principled to shill.
