The Mississippi doesn't actually touch any of the great lakes. It flows from one of the literally thousands of lakes in Minnesota and just so happens to pick up steam along the way. The lakes won't get any more water.
Seems to start at Leech Lake in a place called Federal Dam

Yes I just autistically scrolled google maps till i found the source

I too just went on the same autistic journey, quite the ride. This is the official start, a few miles from Leech Lake where you traced it to.

I thought of where their watersheds limits got some openings thanks to the canals around Chicago and it caused some controversy thanks to the Asian Carp.

So, does one go long or short on Heinekin in these trying times?
Short, beer companies normally switch to bottling water to ship to the disaster zones for the sweet sweet free advertising and massive tax writeoffs, sales may go down this quarter taking their stock price with it, if that happens buy the dip as they will be posting higher profits for the next few quarters as they take advantage of the donations.

Some of the people I know who work on rigs say this is fake news. All I heard was it’s a single Facebook post that’s been retracted.

It could be. It was reported by a local newspaper tho and shell tweeted saying they cant deny it right now.

So shell is aware and if they cant deny it themselves then neither can anyone on your facebook oil groups

If Shell doesn't know, how would anyone else? Katrina did a number on the original Mars platform but didn't tear it loose. Color me skeptical.

All I’ve seen is one Facebook post that’s been unverified everyone keeps mentioning and stating as fact and backing it up with statements with how Shell evacuated oil rigs before the hurricane

When your mayor's name is LaToya, your city is still fucked even if a hurricane misses you by a thousand miles.

It’s also like hundreds of feet above sea level so there. To reverse it all the way would involve flooding all of the Texas.

not a bad idea ….
