Phil, or at least his sub-conscious, knows that he would never be able to hold one. Even if you got past his google search history, the poor fuck has become such an introvert hermit that he'd never be able to function in a normal work environment. His cowardice would constantly be in a fight with his ego and result in a passive-aggressive attitude that would only piss off everyone around him.

I would add that though Corona-chan has managed to influence the workplace quiet a bit (for example in my company we all worked from home for nearly a year and our company is thriving at the moment) I don't see Phil working from home on the behest of someone else. Yes right now he is also working from home but he is in essence his own boss (a terrible one but hey he is the boss) I for one think that Phil would not meet deadlines or log in late in the morning (heck he sleeps till 9 am or 10 am?). So even if a company offers him home office he wouldn't be a productive member imho.

Oh chargebacks coming in again? Well now you can say the "behind the scenes" contributions are just an extension of the money laundering scheme between onlycucksocks and Phil, definitively. All to inflate Scopely's bottom line.

If phil had any other good options at all, he would have just got a real job a long time ago. Theres no way he's happy doing this shit all day for 6 days a week. He hates video games, he hates his chat, and he's stressed out each and every day not knowing how much money he'll end up with for the day. Sure he makes good money but does that outweigh the stability of a regular work schedule and benefits like pto, retirement savings and health insurance?

I guarantee if phil was offered a job in a office setting making like even just 50k per year and the promise that no one there would ever know of his online presence, we would never see or hear from him again.

The problem is that opportunity will never be available and any job he does manage to get will be some retail or customer service related job and the store will be hit with "WHY AM I TOXIC" and "can I talk to the guy?" prank calls 24/7.

It was probably much the same situation with his 9-5s, too. It's not like he changes in a positive way, ever, so it's safe to assume that whatever he is now, he was back then.

So yeah, good luck with him staying employed, because he's obviously even worse today. He can't even see the personal benefit of getting a good night's sleep every night, which he could pull off even while being a drunk and hooked on wrestling jpegs.

BTW, we're coming up on the one year anniversary of the vest streak ending (September 8th). We should hold a celebration.

There's also a reason I see him being truthful about hate having to do a marathon. I mean this in a way that he hates actually doing these stupid fuckin' streams in the first place, and the begging that underlies it all.

What he means is he hates doing anything special and would rather you guys go back to tipping him $150 each stream. Also with this chargeback nonsense, when does he stop complaining about it? The next day when its memoryholed? Or until he reaches a certain threshold? $200 for 4 streams worth of money? Either way, it's fucked.

I think something else is going on, and not some fake shit like he was building up to with Jasper before that exploded in his face. Or the stuff with MidFirst, I don't trust pigroach to be more up to date on that than we are, especially since he tried to imply that he hasn't just been ignoring it, even though we know for a fact that he has.

The two possibilities that come to mind are health problems and marital issues. I mean how else do you explain him getting his gacha money but still being grouchy? Something else has to be going on to ruin his enjoyment of wrestling jpegs. It isn't the game itself, he didn't get kicked from Sons of Smackdown or anything.

Maybe he's up to his eyeballs in credit card debt again already and the collector's are breathing down his neck?

Because the people who gifted subs were doing it for two reasons (neither of which were to help Phil out financially):
  1. Attention from chat
  2. To hit sub goals for """rewards""" like viewers' choice and marathons.

i was watching the second episode of project 7. this one joke about phil being a porn star came up and i laughed at how dumb it was. then i looked into it. why did he write the joke that way? phil says he should be a porn star and unbuckles his pants while john is bent down to his waste level. why the hell did he unbuckle his pants with john so close to him. why did he unbuckle his pants at all?
maybe he is closeted for john?

Definitely a possibility. My bet would be 50/50 on that and marital issues. Phil seems kinda pissy every time Khat is brought up, or just blows right through the answer: “Khat is fine she’s at work”

We get none of the “Khat and I did this and this” stories anymore.

Maybe Khat has been doing the Jim so often lately that even Phil’s ossified brain is putting two and two together?

Why does Khat go to Jim every day or every other day, but doesn’t seem to lose any weight?

Why does she always doll herself up before she goes?

Why does she always take a shower right when she comes home? Don’t they have those there?

Why did she insist on going to Victoria’s Secret on Tuesday?

Why did Khat stop begging him for sex like months ago?


Phil’s gout brain is working overtime, but he doesn’t like the answers it comes up with.

I bet there is a part of Phil that realizes he no longer has any qualities to get anything other than a minimum wage job. I think he has screwed himself over in the early years and his decision to just keep making it worse has led him to this point. He doesn't have a work ethic, he doesn't have any job skills, his entire sleep schedule is fucked, his attitude is like job repellent, and he would never survive an interview. There are places that hire you if you can fog up a mirror or prove you have a heartbeat and I am pretty sure Phil would fail in those interviews
