Tubby Tess was always disposable and has been disposed of a few times by Olly already. Olly only needs Tess for a free place to crash that was by the beach. That’s it. Tess is a morbidly obese narcissist single mom. Olly is a train wreck in her own right but Ryann is completely undesirable as a lover. Men have literally ran away from her. Olly will return the next time she needs a free place to stay in the Los Angeles area.

I’m reminded of all those times she blubbered in random parking lots and plastered those moments all over her Instagram stories. Then sometimes hours later, she talks about how amazing her life is. Tess expects her “fans” to have memory spans of goldfish but we remember. The only thing that is shorter than the length of her redemptive arcs are her friendships with her revolving door of BFFs.

Interesting that you say that, I've often thought how it's hard to get a true idea of Tess' comparative size. On the rare occasion I do, it's always the same shocked response “omg she's getting huuuge”. I've known people at size 22-24, but 28-30? I don't know what that looks like irl.

I'm admittedly not that up on the dynamic between Tess and Olly, but I wouldn't be surprised if she'd agreed to some sort of open relationship situation. She gets to cling to a partner and assure herself she hasn't been dumped, even if it means lowering any expectations, as well as giving herself backpats for being poly and kweer and oh-so-cool and modern.
