For me it's the opposite. He's been back in CT once to see them since he moved there. It's reasonable to assume he didn't even want to go back on that occasion either and was probably guilted into it by his mother. 50 bucks says he actually tried to play "but muh busy schedule! I can't take time ahff work, maumdood!" after telling her over the phone that he was getting married to a halfwit they hadn't ever met before. If his parents actually paid for the wedding (mashing X) then it was to be used as leverage to get him once in the span of 5 years to behave normally and allow your fucking parents to be in attendance at your wedding instead of letting him skip the ceremony to play Fallout again. Plus they both hated being there and seemingly phil only enjoyed the food in a twist no one saw coming. For my money he probably couldn't wait to get away from them and flex his independent machoor adult prowess. Bankrupt within a sham marriage, in the throes of a gambling addiction and no doubt in need of real mental health counselling. This spacka really dabbed on maum and dahd and proved he can adult with the best of them.

Phil won't get shit from his parents. And if by some small miracle he does he'll run it into the ground. Look what happened to his condo, can't imagine what he'd do with a house. Though, I'd love to see Phil inherit a house "thanks for the generous donation, mom and dad, that'll help pay my phone bill" and then figure out it's underwater.
Phil got his bad spending habits from his Mom. There were days where She dumped him into the arcade so she could go spend Dave's money come back, feed the little piggy, and go buy something for Phil and head home to buy more stuff off of QVC while chain smoking.
I personally think it's as simple as DSP knowing what kind of trolls WingsOfRedemption has had to put up with, and the fear someone who similarly wants to really fuck with him will come along someday. Phil has, as many here have noted, so far lucked out (pigroach luck!?...) in terms of this. For all the complaining about us "mentally ill" detractors Phil has done, I suspect he knows this, and is terrified at the prospect of that luck running out one day. (More recently and specifically, the fact that OIC has been putting out weird vibes along those lines, as many have noticed here, probably hasn't helped.)
Jesus fuck. Laying it all out like that really puts how fucked his daily life is. If Dave didn't have streaming, he might be one of those nutjobs recording every moved branch and red car for gangstalking.
I personally love the "depressed gray/green plain t-shirt", because he usually is wearing it when he's drunk at a night stream playing some shitty game. I also really like when he puts the microphone right in front of a light source, so it seems that he's covered in sweat.
