Right, I suppose the logical explanation is that this oddly masculine looking woman with a strong jaw made up the whole story to media and talk shows, at the risk of her lie being easily refuted by family members or close friends or the clinic that treated her, and then failed to pursue any publicity or political clout in the six years since then and quietly went on with her life. A very normal and common thing to do.


Edit: I found a few journal articles about XY pregnancies, apparently she is not the only one.

Gonadal dygenisis does not equal CAIS. Either way, this would still be exceedingly rare, expensive and could never include troons regardless of the age they began HRT.

Just to agree with @Mariposa Electrique and the fact fact my main reply said there's a chimera mostly XY woman who got pregnant and even produce her own eggs. And I also know many cases of XY gonadal dysgenesis that can be pregnant with donated eggs. Swyer is NOT androgen insensitivity. When the mutation of SRY gene happened, you got almost all of the female reproductive system just that the ovary isn't properly formed.

In the article about 'Women's without womb' getting pregnant. It's likely a misdiagnosis after XY karotype.. or perhaps that person mutation isn't just Androgen Insensitivity but they would also have SRY or gonadal development related.. and in fact they would have got a womb, see the word that the subject was 'being told. The misdiagnosis is made into a title generate a clickbait.

Chimerism is a very rare condition where 2 different sets of DNA combine. Basically a chimera contains the genetics of 2 embryos, which could be male and female. It happens in cats, horses, probably most animals. Usually shows up in animals because the colour pattern is otherwise impossible. It has nothing to do with normal people or trannies, any more than Siamese twins do
