DSP has introduced/proposed his next money-making tactic: a reward for "tips goal streaks". If he hits the tips goal on, for example, six consecutive streams, the viewers get to decide what the next stream will be about (they get to pick a game from a poll).

That's just an example he gave, but he really wants to do this reward, and is looking into what that reward should be exactly (read: his viewers need to come up with something).

Pay DSP $300/day for an entire week and you get to pick a game that he's already playing. Given how genuinely fucking autistic he is about his schedule he probably unironically thinks letting the paypigs alter it slightly is a reward.

Out of all the things Phil does, I think the things he sees as "rewards" are the most blatant evidence that he is a narcissist. He legitimately doesn't think about others. He doesn't understand that rewards should be things you do for your fans, like dedicating a stream to playing a game with your top supporters, coaching them in some game, gifting them something, whatever.

But Phil thinks that doing something for himself is a reward to others. It's the same mentality that he has when he complains about people asking for something in return for their contributions, and then he goes on a spiel about how people should contribute without expecting anything in return, because "Me being able to keep streaming is already a reward for my true fans!".

Side note I said a while back at least DSP isn't Asmongold, kinda take it back. Asmongold started shit with FF14 content creators eventually focusing on one who was kinda his FF14 equal just a girl. In WoW land 9.1 came out and after something like 9 months its bare bones time gated content so as a surprise to no one Asmongold started Ff14. 9.1 was pretty much the WoW titanic's stern just went to 90 degrees, so unlike phil who refuses to leave SSF2T for something like GG:S Asmongold has enough sense to try something he shit talked for the good of his stream.

Also, the community is absolute garbage and chases anyone that becomes "big" on the game. They have threated people to death over criticism of the game, plenty of gayops/infighting and so on. With Phil's amount of shit behind him, he would have an absolute shitstorm on his ass.

Regarding Asmongoloid, he's another balding retard that jus goes with the flow of whatever brings more money while trying to hold himself to a higher standard. The man wanting Classic because it's hard and then got carried by fucking zoomers giving him gold and gear, trying to hype fights that are literally "press a button" as something hard.

His stream is safe. He just wants to add drama to it and be able to say to the usual XIV sperg to shut it because he tried it.

I'm not defending Phil, and I think it's great whenever he gets that kind of response. However, reading this chain, I finally understood why some people see Phil as a victim.

He really can't catch a break. Every interaction of his with anyone, even apparently inoffensive ones like this, are met with aggressiveness.

To an ignorant bystander, Phil really does look like a victim. "Wow, the guy is just being nice to Max and this troll comes here and offends him". If you're not a pig connoisseur like most of us and you were to read that interaction, I'd say it's likely that you'd believe that.

Sure, we know that Phil is just chasing clout while being envious of a guy much more liked than him. But to someone who doesn't know that, he really seems like a victim. Add to that the fact that Phil reinforces the victim narrative daily saying that he's harassed by trolls all the time, and probably more than one of his supporters were people that saw that kind of interaction and believed that Phil was a victim.

Just an observation. I still find it hilarious when he gets shit on while pretending to be a nice guy.

It's because the people who have watched Phil over the years know how fake of an individual he is. He is desperately trying to fit back into a group who he chose to ostracise so he deserves all the shit he gets.

The classic shilling was the first I really heard about Asmongold, as someone who played back then I found his memba berries seemed to be of private servers not actual classic, so I wasn't surprised when I heard he got carried by his fan base. I never watched his streams youtube likes to suggest his vids if I watch anything WoW and now FF14 related, that spergy surprise butt sex face in the thumbnails just annoys me too much to watch.

yeah, KoF is going to get the GG:S treatment, where he said he'd try the first beta, didn't. Said he'd try the second, playing SMB instead and then said he might try it then used a max tweet as an excuse not to...I know, you need to play the game to get good at it...WHO KNEW!

now whats going to happen when the Street Fighter 2 collection is more of ghost town than it was yesterday where only Goji, Jose and like some rando who got the game as a gift? I'm sure he'll drop but I wonder how he'll spin it.
