Kinda Ironic a storm named Elsa will probly hit disney.

?? The series was never about racism. It was about unrestrained corporatism and misogyny.

That's why everyone loves when that slimy weasel Burke gets killed.
The guy said the new thing will explore "inequalities" but since he was also talking about how we need to spread the wealth... maybe it'll be about unrestrained corporatism too.

It's a pretty big plot point in the movie when we find that the company wants the creature but not the crew, though.
It puts all of Ash's actions into context. When I watched it for the first time I went in almost completely blind and thought Ash was some asshole who thought he knew better than the rest of the crew and endangered everyone via ignorance. Then it's revealed that the company considers the rest of the crew expendable. And then the double reveal that Ash is an android they sent to ensure it would follow orders. Those two scenes completely change the entire context of the film. And "the everyday man vs. greedy corporation that wants to fuck him over" is a variation of classic progressive views. Not to mention the earlier scene where Ripley is talked to in a sexist manner by a subordinate.

Alien was always progressive in nature. And I'm not even a SJW. I wouldn't support it going full woke, mind you, but it's not like it's coming out of left field.

I’m thankful that they never made anymore Teen Goofy or original Goofy movies. Next to Donald Duck, I’d dislike the fact if they tried to “cancel” Goofy and his son. The “Teen Goofy” movies, as clichéd as they sound, still have a place in my heart even when it was made back in the late 90’s and early 00’s.

That actually goes miles to explain why he always loses anytime it really matters. You can't win if you think your Pokémon are expendable... 😜

You could also say that the "bad guy = greedy" is a condemnation of jews who, in the Bible, were willing to condemn the souls of all mankind to an eternity in hell by crucifying the Lord because he trashed their temple marketplace.

I think if Disney's stock crashes within the next 3 years without a general depression it'll be because Disney didn't go into streaming back in ~2010. Netflix went digital in 2007. Disney + was released in late 2019. Netflix had a 12 year head start on them. If you read articles even Netflix is surprised at how fucking long it took for real competition to emerge. They wouldn't have even had to build much of anything, even back then there were probably tons of streaming service startups begging to be snatched up.
Any of the big studios could have done that but none of them did. Even a few that did have streaming services never did anything of worth with them such Sony with Crackle which came out around the same time, or HBO Go in 2010. Or in 2015 Disney had another streaming service which was UK only called DisneyLife.

WB missed the boat for sure, if they had a well marketed worldwide streaming service when Game of Thrones just started, it would have been huge. However, Disney was right to wait maybe not to 2019 however. In 2007, they didn't own Star Wars nor Marvel nor Fox, really outside PotC and Pixar movies they had no huge hits, Tangled which was when their animation department turned things around box office wise wasn't until 2010. Disney just didn't have the content that would have got people to sub in great numbers, and still had well a very kiddy brand image to them at that point rather than the more general audience one they have now.

Disney+ is showing very fast growth and will bring in Disney so much money I doubt they would care if they are behind Netflix, just a question if people get sick of the milking of the Marvel and Star Wars shit will they leave it and can Disney bring back or make new ips that people would care about?

Sadly, like a lot of studios, Disney listens to Wall Street analysts and focus groups, who insist they know more about filmmaking than Kubrick and Scorsese.
Well not even about making legit good movies, just movies and shows the masses will eat up, movies such as the Transformers one or many of Disney's own Marvel movies aren't good but do people love to watch them. But it's a sad state of cinema when Scorsese has to go to streaming for his movies to have any budget of note and of the people that made huge hits in the past would struggle to get a new movie made unless it's based on something already of note.

Found a tweet that perfectly captures the mood of fans regarding the parks:
Wonderful changes are coming, you see!
What used to cost nothing, but now has a fee
First, transportation: You must pay to park
And you now have to upgrade to stay after dark
And early admission? No need to be prompt
It now has an upcharge; it used to be comped
Online reservations for every last ride
You just better hope that your phone hasn't died!
Once called "included" but now it's "deluxe"
So please use the app to pay 70 bucks
Remember how FastPass improved all our queues?
Well now COVID's over, so that's our excuse
To change it completely, despite the backlash
(Your online petitions go right in the trash)
So now it will cost you to shorten your wait
Or stand in the sun as your heart fills with hate
Our lines are "immersive," so bring your whole group
And listen to 25 notes on a loop
Prefer to run marathons all 'round our hub?
Just pay for the privilege of joining the club
You'll have to forgive us, we ask your goodwill
Our CEO only took home 90 mil
And we just can't find workers, despite how we try
They'd rather play video games and get high!
We don't offer health care or unions or perks
Except to say proudly "The park's where I works!"
So those are the reasons the ticket price rose
(While at the same, all the trash overflows)
We're just treading water, we're barely alive
That PPP loan just enough to survive
We know you detest the new price you must pay
You'll yell and you'll cry but you'll come anyway!
