You couldn't directly take on the military, so the best way to defeat them would be to get them to turn or at least refuse to fight you anymore. Probably through some form of propaganda or guilting them. It'd probably be easier to demoralize them if they're killing fellow Americans vs. Middle Easterners.

If foreign troops were invited into a US civil conflict, all bets are off and the sitting Feds would be dead men walking. You don't invite neighbors into a family spat. And none of them would seriously want to get involved because they'd be sending their own troops into someone else's fight just to get their boys killed. The US Forces would never be able to be deployed against its own citizens. National Guard acting as riot control but then..who controls Nasty Girls? Governors. As far as active duty...one sure fire way to piss off your enlisted is to tell them they're being deployed against Americans. pissed off would be an understatement. Joint Chiefs might circle jerk over the idea but I guarantee the actual fighters would sooner quit. In general the scenario is too unfathomable to happen but whats the punishment for diserrtion if the US Military is being deployed against Americans? It creates too many negative feedback loops for even the most power mad hungry Democrats.
