I would love to see more activity on this forum because some of the shows "stars" are absolute lolcows. Angie J needs her own thread.
Oh hell yes.

Jeanne in particular just has this... Absolutelywhiny entitlement that drives me up the wall. If you gave me some of her dialogue from this show with no context and asked me to guess what age she is, I would guess something around twelve or thirteen. And yet, iirc, she's almost forty.

Yeah she's like " I'm glad he's dead but I miss his check." Yikes.

I feel the same about more activity.

The two part Perils of Angie were just a hilarious series of her being a rampaging bitch and then suffering the consequences for it.

Particularly liked when her Pill Popping Husband stole her dad’s ashes (perhaps to snort them) and Pill Popping Boyfriend abandoned her to sleep in the park (probably because she was a Grade-A cunt to him too.)

I wonder if TLC is gonna start canceling shows because of their connection to platforming dangerous people.

I doubt it. It didn’t stop them the first time he was outed as a pedophile, and Honey Boo Boo just rebranded after its sex offender drama. Thankfully, most of them are just insane Christians like the Hypocrite Midget Clan and only a danger to themselves.

It's been hard to watch the last season. Dr. No has lost his zest. The sarcastic lines and wit he sometimes showed has given way to just plain boredom. He never really did like his patients much but now you can almost see like a twinkle in his eye like "Perhaps my scalpel might slip on this one.". He is literally surrounded by disappointment in every tense - past present and future.

Of course he is nothing to look at himself with all his money and yet seeming inability to find a barber or surgeon.

Although he did find something to wear that made him look better...

Maybe Dr. Now is questioning whether this whole gastric bypass crap is even worth it when he can't get most of the patients, that are successful, on the show. The program itself loves to focus on the losers (no pun intended) instead of the success stories. Personally I'd rather see people rally and overcome their food addiction or laziness or whatever being fat is all about. It would be more encouraging than seeing the train wrecks that the show currently focuses on.

Then again, I always love a happy ending. There hasn't been a happy ending on My 600 lb life in several seasons.

At some point TLC started intentionally digging up the worst and most unlikable patients for him. Obviously he's gonna burn out.

I can definitely see where the environment he works in could be becoming more of an emotional drain on Now at this point, plus he isn't getting any younger himself.

And to me it seems like a lot of the "oh look we might get a happy endings" die, like Henry Foots. I would like it if the show was a mix of losers and winners, which I think would also make the losers look worse.

The midgets are hardcore christians. I had no idea

Yeah, apparently the normal height twin and his wife got in the most trouble, but the mom pulled the “I need to speak to my Pastor about that” card when they asked her if she agreed with their views on gay people.

Meanwhile, the youngest son went rogue and became a pothead.
