Honestly most of these quiet nerd dudes need to read Meditations and How to Win Friends and Influence People. Develop an actual backbone and stop thinking changing the exterior is gonna make the interior happy.

You know what makes me super fucking sad? whenever I see shy spergy men like this troon out and try to become lesbians because they’re not musclebound chads, or because most e-thot type women won’t give them the time of day, I’m reminded that there are so many girls out there who would love to meet up with guys like them. There are entire sub-cultures of straight women who find this kind of awkward, effeminate nerdy man very attractive.

And you need to remember that a lot of girls that would find some of these guys attractive, troon out as well to chase the gay boi of their dreams. I have seen countless of FtMs on tumblr back in the dayswho seem to oogle and write slash fics of fictional nerdy men. Though, in a way, those girls can be somewhat more lucky because there are straight men who would play along with their game for easy pussy. (I knew personally, the guy told a gayden that he is bisexual, but he exclusively dated girls before her. Then she totally believed they're in ~gay~ relationship.)

The most hilarious case of this is that, male troon and female troon ends up together to form a 'straight with extra step' couples of two totally dysfunctional bodymodders. I have seen a number of them here, on dumblr, and in fact Kiwi does document the famous cases such as Joseph Lavery & Mallory Ortberg or Maritza Cummings & Paul Lopez... and sometimes I just.. really don't understand why.

I think it’s very clear that “straight trans4trans” couples only exist if the parties involved are desperate enough to play along with each other’s delusions— and for many shallow, selfish, mentally ill people, that isn’t hard.

That’s where the ‘Incel’ part of the MTF troon comes in. There’s plenty of women who’d date the pre-trans, younger, nerdier guys in this thread, but since those women don’t usually look like pornstars and most TiMs are pornsick, they turn their nose up and only go after the sexy e-thot type women. Reading this sent me through an indescribable rollercoaster of nausea and seething fury. To me, it just sounds like when two goth kids would get together, except with a bunch of exhausting idpol attached instead of pretending to worship the Devil.

I'd bet good money a lot of them act like any normal straight couple in private; it's only publicly they put on the performative troon shit because that's what gets them attention. If they're still incels at 25+ there must be something more going on behind the scenes besides just being nerdy or effeminate men. Maybe they refuse to date anything less than a 10/10 stacy type or they have some really fucked personality or mental issues going on that they aren't trying to sort out.

I'm going to also assume that engineering and computer science programs have a far more intense male to female ratio. Of course it's going to be hard for the guys to find girls. Also, women are way more skittish about picking up body language and behavioral flags so if a guy sees her and starts acting weird and/or simping it's going to turn her away faster than if he just treated her like a normal person and tried to get to know her before hitting on her.

Most women I know, single and taken, have expressed that it's very offputting when guys come onto them suddenly and don't take the time to actually build a friendship first. It makes them feel less like potential partners and more like prey to be won. A lot of guys seem to miss that stage of dating/flirting and either go right for the throat and try to get close too fast, or never bother in the first place because of low self esteem. Also, again, if they're pursuing the stereotypical thotty types of women we see being idolized on tiktok or twitch, of course they're going to have a poor time of it. Those girls aren't interested in fostering real relationships, they're looking for attractive (and/or wealthy) men to satisfy their own preening, self-important fantasies.

Anyway this discussion is getting very offtopic so I'm going to drop it. Just know that unconventional men aren't all doomed to loneliness because they're shy. nerdy or awkward. It's a two-way street, and you need to read the road if you want to make it safely to your final destination.
