I've heard that the typical Class C/D felony arrest and trial costs the defendant @ $10,000. This doesn't include bail/bond, and assumes a lawyer is retained and the case is pled down.
Is this still true?

This is probably going to cost him more, if it isn't almost immediately resolved in a plea bargain.

Hey Boogie, I know you're lurking here. Do not accept any plea deal and fight the charge to the bitter end! As an e-celebrity with over 4-million subscribers on YouTube, you had every right to recklessly discharge a firearm that you did not own into the air in your neighborhood. Do it for your fans in Minecraft!

He'd be an idiot not to plea this down, especially if he can prove he took even the most basic steps to get a restraining order or something. I'm wondering if he can get it all the way down to a misdemeanor.

If boogie gets off easy it wouldn't be because he's a YouTuber. It would be more about the neighborhood he's in. He's been in the same suburb for decades with no incidents up until recently. He's been swatted, stalked and had wellness checks but not to this extent. Then there is the obvious he's old obese and visibly weak. He would get eaten alive in prison.
Old? WTF. He's not even 50.

It's my belief that even in the event Boogie's lawyer is able to cop down to a plea deal of some sort, the outcome will eventually result in Boogie spending somewhere north of $10k. The friend of mine I mentioned on the previous page had a nearly identical case, he reached a plea deal for a suspended felony sentence and ultimately dropped $16k~ all things considered.

In his case he had spent $10k on the lawyer, somewhere around $1,200 on court fees, and the rest went to probation costs, drug test fees, outpatient rehab costs, etc. The probation requirements over the course of 4~ years certainly added up and was fucking him over in-between work for a good while.

I'm relatively clueless on what it may mean financially for Boogie if he's not able to reach a standard plea deal. I do know that in my friend's case though, the $16k total he had spent was pretty standard and to be expected.

If Boogie pulled a gun on me I would KICK his FAT ASS into the next world. I don't take that shit. I don't give a FUCK about cops, man. They would know I would be in the right anyway. You point a gun at a person? You better be prepared to use, the faggy fat fucker. I would probably snatch that revolver out of his hand before he had a chance to pull the trigger. I've seen plenty of Steven Seagal movies to know how's to do that.

I laughed, but only because you're a 2015 account that should know better lol

This is the same lawyer that Boogie used in his divorce.
Thinking back, Desiree got out at juuuust the right time huh
:shit-eating:

Is it illegal to knock on the door of a man who threatened to kill you the prior night?
I'm not trying to be a smartass. I'm genuinely curious what law Frank would have been in violation here, or the legal validity regarding Boogie's claim of Frank stalking/harassing him.
Harassment, right? He was engaging in real physical in-person harrassment after boogie had asked him to stop. AFAIK that's a crime. Definitely not one you can shoot someone for though. I don't know about Pensylvania but where I live the only things you can shoot someone over are an imminent threat to your life and arson. Even shooting a burglar is illegal. And even the right to self defense is pretty narrow. Fuck arsonists though, those niggas start wildfires and kill thousands. Shoot your local hobo with a campfire. Damn I fuckin hate hobos. What were we talking about again?

Harassment is but it has to be proven. For instance, there has to be a pattern and it has to be over a period of time. Given what has happened I doubt that would stick considering boogie willingly went on a killstream with frank.

Which is the shittier, more thankless job...a dietician trying to get boogie to lose weight or a defense attorney trying to get boogie to stop posting shit online and derailing his own defense?

Neither are getting listened to of course, but which job is more soul sucking?

Boogie firing warning shots in self defense is about as plausible as Wayne LaPierre riding on yachts to avoid blacks out to get him.

A judge is (and has in the latter) going to say lolno.
