He can’t physically do any of the required labor for community service, he might just opt out for a few days or week in county.

Ethan Ralph is attractive, known by the general populace and not washed up? Because of Covid and the anti police movements, governments are excusing offenses and releasing people. Covid and the push to empty the jails and prisons is in Boogie's favor - whatever he would be charged with. Not to mention they waited over six months to charge. They must not see him as a threat to himself or others.
