14-year-old Florida girl Alice Wagner has taken a stand against her school after her teacher accused her of wearing inappropriate clothing to class.

14-year-old Florida girl Alice Wagner has taken a stand against her school after her teacher accused her of wearing inappropriate clothing to class.

News4Jax reports that Wagner was suspended for ten days after she got into a heated argument with a female teacher she said made a snide comment about her outfit. “[The teacher] told me I was ‘letting them hang out for the whole world to see,’ as I was exiting the classroom,” Wagner said. “I went to the bathroom and I came back and I said, ‘You need to stop sexualizing 14-year-old girls.’ I grabbed my stuff and I removed myself from the situation.”

Following this, she went to the administrative office in hopes of contacting her parents, but school staff stopped her from doing so. "I don’t think it’s okay for her to talk to teachers that way,” her mother, Sarah Wagner, added. “But I understand why she was angry. She was basically sexually harassed by her teacher. … The teacher did apologize, she did understand what she did was wrong.”

Alice Wagner said that she believes she was “targetted” by her teacher because of her body. “Just because I have a little bit of breasts, I get targeted,” she said. Staff at the school alleged that her “undergarments” were visible in the outfit she wore, which she denied. Her teacher allegedly told her that she was “letting them hang out for the whole world to see.” The school itself has not publicly commented on the matter.

The outfit, if worn properly, isn't that bad. I guarantee that it was not worn properly. If the staff say the undergarments were showing, that means she pulled it down in front and had the bra peeking above the neckline. There are girls who bring clothes and change at school because their parents would never let them out the door with the skank clothes they insist on wearing. It is not a stretch to imagine that girl with a rebellious streak would purposely try to flaunt dress codes and then play innocent when she gets caught.

It's not about body shaming -- it is about teaching girls to have some damn self respect. Why do you want to put your tits on display for every creep to ogle? Save them for someone that is worthy of looking at them. We don't have to choose between pure virgin or trashy whore. Believe it or not, we can teach girls that there is nothing wrong with their bodies or their sexuality and still teach them that there is a time and place for it. School is basically a kid's work. It isn't okay to be blatantly slutty at work unless your work involves a pole. Why is this such a hard concept for people to understand?

I reckon that it's a very opaque case of trying to have your cake and eat it. The only actual purpose in showing off your sexual features is to garner sexual attention, yet there are girls and women who will insist that they have some utilitarian purpose for it (e.g. waitresses may expose their cleavage to increase favorability with their hosts, i.e. increase odds of tipping/tipping amounts) or they just want to "look good". Putting aside that you can look great without showcasing your sexual features, all these roads point to the garnering or exploitation of sexual attention-- they're just unable or unwilling to acknowledge this.

Women are willing to and able to admit that they use their features and sluttyness to make weak men bend to their will. I've worked with a few top notch looking lasses who were decent and honest and used to show me how they would get away with doing fuck all because they flirted with simps.

Can't hate the hustle. The only people that do are over the hill, dried up old hags.

I'm gonna highlight the part that everyone missed. What we have here is a Florida Woman in training, she was probably a half second from falling out of her top and she's just bullshitting now to cover for getting caught for it. Also as a Florida Woman she's probably head for a life of trailer parks and meth, but if she's lucky it'll be the pole instead of a bunch of bastard children and crippling obesity. Used to think dress codes existed just because of the young male gaze. Now I realize that without them bitches would get into a whore-war over who can wear the least clothes to get the most attention.

I went to a certain Southern Baptist school, filled with Southern Baptist girls, and what I discovered is that you can make them cover up, but some of them will just wear as tight as they can get away with. Some women, maybe most, will always push the boundaries of dress codes in ways to show more. Some of those girls made heels and painted on pants look good. But then that's pretty normal for Southern Baptists. Just hang around the liquor stores on Sunday and see how many deacons and elders you can spot.
 
Teenaged girls constantly dress for attention and then act all saintly and offended when they're called on it because they want their cake and to eat it too. In fact, most women do this. It's just a part of the game everyone pretends they're not playing.

We all had our slut phases (this includes men), it's a part of human nature. The shit is only annoying when people get upset over slut shaming. Calling a spade a spade isn't bad, and being upset doesn't change the fact that you're trying to fill a metaphorical hole with a literal dick.

As someone who has managed a call centre filled with teenage - early 20's women, apparently it is hard to understand. We had women come to work in the most skimpy and ridiculous clothes, like they were headed to a nightclub. I also had staff that would try to flirt their way out of trouble, as if a view of cleavage was going to make me forget that they were a retard who couldn't do their job.
The sad part was that it actually worked on some of the other managers, so a lot of our staff were fucking useless.

That shit is way too tight for middle school and is most likely see-through. Hell, it kinda looks like she isn't wearing a bra at all at first glance at the second pic. There's no way I'd let my child wear that in public at that age.

Lol, where you go to school? Cause people, both boys and girls, making comments about someone's size was pretty common.

Also where is it "social acceptable" to make such comments? Or did you mistake someone doing something as it being ok to do?

I would laugh so hard if the "free the nipple" /"desexualise breasts" movements were successful. If breasts aren't sexualised, then women can't use them to get men's attention/favours.

Ok ill get right on “demystifying and desexualizing“ boobs for adolescent boys. What universe do you live in? And did the human race even survive that process?

And the reasons girls troon out is actually well understood. Its usually a result of abuse, social pressure, or a fundamental rejection of male attention at a young age(they used to just turn into lesbians).

That's what you think-- it's really crappy to think about, women preying directly on the sexual armor chinks of men to get things other than an intimate companionship they also desire. The ultimate solution is for men to remake themselves out of tougher stuff and accordingly render these strategies ineffective, but that doesn't mean it isn't disgusting all the same.
