Phil just stated that Patreon would have to skyrocket to $2000-$3000 to compensate for the missing subs and allow Phil to lower the tips goal again. So it's all or nothing, basically. That means there is no point for his fans to get the Patreon to $1500 or anything, since the tips goal won't drop anyway.

Phil doesn't want extreme goals like these 'other weirdos' where he'll go topless for a stream or stick cucumbers up his ass.
Does anyone have any idea where he got this idea?

It's not like he can. It used to be obfuscated by different currencies before (subs, cheers, the forgotten patreon he never mentioned) much like his gacha games do to obfuscate the real monetary value of pulling.
Now anyone can easily sum how much he makes in a month by adding up his tips total and patreon since those are his only sources of income.
I guess even his most pignosed paypigs can do simple math so he doesn't bother hiding the fact he makes six figures a year.

I don't think I would be so annoyed with Phil if he actually had something to show for his grifting. Sweaty gay jpgs are just not an asset.

He really hates ReviewTechUSA. Probably because he has almost a million subs and he publicly shamed him once even though he wishes him well way more often than not.

Oh god someone ban me I'm about to do basic math.

$3000 + ($100 * 2 streams * 6 days * 4 weeks) = $7800/month
$7800 * 12 months = $93,600/year
Be careful DSP, you'll end up with less money that way. Oh well, so long as he never hits it I guess the goal can stay at $200 and he can instead make roughly $115,200/year (Not counting Patreon dosh). (Correct me if I'm wrong here on any of this, please.)

Also I like how we're at the point where DSP is casually mentioning cam girl shit as potential options. What a fucking reality.

Edit: Let's add the $555 DSP is currently making on patreon to that $200 goal total for the year.
$555 * 12 months = 6660/year (nice get Phil)
Total: $121,860/year

im starting to get day life army vibes from this whole schtick. hope it doesnt recycle the frozen cum shaving subplot from that but everything else looks inevitable.

Even IF he reached the goal he would find a way to weasel out of it like his daily paymants to his taxman, and even if it was at 2999 dollars for an entire year he still wouldn't lower the tips goal based on that technicality.
The tips goal is here to stay, and it's mandatory. Even 150 bucks will prompt begging segments and threats of wagequiting now.
 
When DSP said he'd do a week long trial run for OIC, what he was actually saying was "if he continues to tip me he can stay a mod."

Tonight, OIC, your trial officially begins. Step up for DSP, being a mod shouldn't change your level of support.
