They're starting to get better about this, I think. Probably depends on where you work I guess, but I (white-collar, below 40) haven't been asked about social media in years.

Complete Disclosure: I've never been asked, but the fact I maintain a page from high school 12 years ago that I only have ever really used to shitpost is just in case it ever does become an issue.

I'm not white collar though so it probably won't. It's mostly for shitposting lets be honest.

Ted kaczynski predicted this, unironically. Technological slavery. You will be forced to use it by law in the future, mark my words.
Yes he did predict this. Problem is nobody actually reads his manifesto. If he didn't become the unibomber they'd just call him a loon. He becomes the unibomber they see him as evil. There is no winning here. We need a way to get by without technological slavery. That's what we should be focused on.

People who work in industries that demand them for background checks.

If you try to get a decent paying job in tech and you don't at the very least have a LinkedIn with your full name, work history and professional looking photo then you're gonna have a rough time unless you know some people. Not having social media tends to be a big red flag for most white collar jobs nowadays, especially if you're below 40.
Social media accounts are used for background checking on applications for housing here and for some financial services. You don't want to have none but you want whatever ones you have to present a positive picture of you and to contain accurate basic information.

using this info
Phone numbers don't have any use pretty much, because if you have someone's phone number already - chances are you already have a complete dossier on that person.
The other group of people that may find use in this are phone scammers. But I don't have indian citizenship to say for sure.

how many people have you convinced to leave facebook, google, instagram
2, there's no reason to try to convey something to a normie who relies on these services in his daily life - it's like telling a drunkard to stop drinking.

I still used Facebook up until last year, but only to sell shit on the marketplace/groups. I didn't even want to use it but I was told that the groups for selling stuff are still going strong for whatever reason. Lo and behold, there are a bunch of retarded Gen x'ers that are still buying junk on there and they were interested in my stuff that I had to clear out. Thing is, I had made an all new blank account with no identifying info (fake name/birthday/profile pic), sold my stuff, and deleted the account.

You are a literal mouthbreather or an old person if you haven't deleted your old accounts that have identifying information given how Zuck has already sold so much of your info and data.

Well as someone who has read his manifesto we need to influence a determined minority of people to rebel against society through "nonviolent" means (censoring myself for the glowies)

I'm so glad that I "deleted" my facebook account back in 2016. Still dont miss it 5 years later. Any info they could have scraped from my account is hilariously out of date or doesnt exist anymore.

Side note, never let your kids use social media. Dont let them develop the habit. Looking back getting on facebook as a teenager was a TERRIBLE idea and I want to slap my mom for encouraging it.

I use Facebook, have for a decade. But my name and otherwise unused email are the only real info I ever filled in there. Would be dumb to consider anything you put in your profile there as private, even if you mark it as such in there. If it could hurt FB it would be great tho.
I don't know because Facebook love to creep into your data without you knowing. For example your meta data or your web browser can be compromise. Google and Facebook love to share data and you would not even know that is happening until it is too late.

Good luck there. People are generally sheep. Convincing people to even look at an alternative to discord is damn near impossible, never mind twitter, or whatever other social media shit.

Even in tech, it's 100% acceptable to say that you don't use social media due to privacy concerns. If you work for a FAANG or whatever obviously you can't badmouth your employer, but a lot of their staff quietly follow the old rule of "don't get high on your own supply".

Edit: Also I'm trying to download the US file, but ufile is slow as shit. Anyone have a mega or Google drive link?

Australia is missing When you open the zip for the file that should be Australia, it seems to be mixed up with Austria?

There has be to 5000+ datapoints for a person that actually uses facebook on a regular basis, not to mention every post and dm.

Facebook's data currently takes up thousands of PETABYTES, according to internal records. No single person or group even has the potential to take on that data.

I remember Zucc's nudes leaked from this trashfire of a site and some talk being had about it.
Excuse me, WHAT?
