I dunno it's looking to be a closer deal than not, especially since no other buyer has been able to top the offer and they're probably not going to get anything better. Getting bought out for the price of 5 minecrafts isn't anything to turn your nose up. The alternative of going public would more than likely mean that Microsoft would want to become a major shareholder.

That and I was leaving the barn door open for low brow furry jokes of questionable tastes.

BAFTA winners were announced, and in a move that surprised nobody, Last of Us 2 swept the awards.

Another game that won a lot was Hades. I've never heard of it, it looks like yet another SuperGiant game.

Most baffling is Kentucky Route Zero won an award despite coming out in 2013.

One thing that stood out to me was the amount of Sony games that won.
 
They won GOTY, animation and best actress. Hardly a sweep unless you consider Ghost of Tsushima getting snubbed again.

And Hades is a very good game and even has a naked sexualized goddess from a Californian Indie Dev.

All corporate industry awards are meaningless.

Like even Plumbing and Electrician groups have them and it's just as incestious and stupid. There was never any honor in them.

Also Kentucky Route Zero was nominated because they finally finished the game.

Hades looks like the only game that I can actually invest myself in. So much so, that I’ll probably be the only one playing it on the Nintendo Switch come next month.

For some reason, games like that and the recent Yakuza game don’t get to have the award recognition in the 2020’s. And the latter is well known from the last two decades, while Ghost of Tsushima and Sekiro are the under appreciated samurai games.
 
Reading about all the transexual bullshit going on in the piracy communities is funny.

People being dependent on a small group of pirates to the point where the pirates themselves can revoke games, getting their simps to attack people, forcing people to have bitcoin miner programs in their computers, making people pay for pirated software, pirates doxing the people who download, every possible drama bullshit imaginable.

Corporations never needed Denuvo to combat piracy, just insert a single transexual and watch everything fall apart. This is just like the Red Hat infiltration people.


It's showing the main weakness of piracy though, 99.9% are heavily reliant on the .1% who are actually tech savvy. Unless you yourself know how to disassemble and reassemble stuff, your becoming increasingly dependent on unreliable and unstable people.

What's the details on this one? I rarely get games that aren't repacks from Fitgrrl so if he is in trouble I'm in trouble.

He's in trouble, but you may not be. Apparently his repacks were already existing stuff he effectively rebranded.

Huh? That's what a repack is, yeah. You take a scene release and use heavy compression on it to severely reduce the file size, at the cost of time spent unpacking the release.

Unless there is more to the drama than this, this is nothing.

Well yes, but his entire Fitgirl thing was him taking credit for pirated repack stuff that wasn't his own making and he may have tried to actively suppress the originals.

It's the perfect example of a city of thieves. The whole pirating scene has gotten rather bizarre and it's showing that they're not even immune to CURRENT YEAR hostilities. These people have egos that are clashing and monetary compensation is getting thrown into the mix. People are paying for pirated video games because they like the tranny who pirates them.

Another well known pirate is Empress and they're well known for demanding donations and clout/recognition for all the stuff they pirate, they're also the cause of many new rifts that developed. It's faggy clique shit but it's growing and it's remaining uncontrolled. It's the same type of retarded people who fucked up the indie scene.

Apparently he had a trove of pirated stuff from a server that wasn't his and he was passing it off as his own. It's called into question his actual own skills or if he was a fraud this whole time. He became too well known and basically liked the attention he was getting.

There's english screenshots in the video that summarize stuff but it's been a back and forth between reddit and social media. With pirate simp armies making accusations and attacks. If fitgirl was really repacking shit or not or if empress wants fame and money for his cracks, it's all stupid in the end. They're intentionally wrecking shit over fame for copying files.

Ah yeah, my understanding is that EMPRESS caused some beef awhile back by intentionally limiting download speeds of repackers to 200 KBs on their torrent releases. This is what started this particular beef if I remember.
