Love these people continually attempting to justify their consoomerism by saying everything is for their "anxiety". Feeding your emotions with consumption is a path to making yourself dependent on that kind of shit. And regardless I highly doubt that hugging a giant bread somehow aids you.

That guy showing off his fridge table seems to have at least 50k worth of furniture just in that space. Those dumb chair desk things cost a fortune alone.

Harry potter consoomer believes that a walking stick that it appears they just keep in a box most of the time is somehow worth it. It doesn't even look like it would be functional outside of that, look at those metal fangs. How do you grip this thing properly without stabbing yourself? On top of it all when did this even show up in any of harry potter?

Iron man guy has to justify his purchases so hard he makes two clips showing off that iron man mask and his shitty mirror. I wonder how much these costed altogether.

I earnestly liked this. She has a wit, sense of comedic timing, an energy that's not just PRODUCT-addict-that-needs-her-fix, and above all honest judgement. "Cotton candy popcorn is bad, who knew!" is more honesty than all the others in that post put together. I guess it's true that fat people compensate by developing a good personality.

What exactly is the thought process behind this trend? Do they think they're bragging about something basically everyone with kids is supposed to get? Because there seems to be no joke, unless the joke is just the money.

As far as I can tell that's actually it. No deeper level, no irony, just "Ha ha money."


 
The 1400 thing is especially strange because it doesn't fall into the flexing/bragging half of consoomerism, but these are only going out to people who make under $80k a year. No flex, just dumb choices.

And most of them seem to be bragging because they're not gonna save any of the money for the kids, just spend it on retarded frivolous things like shoes. On another note, a ton of the people in these posts seem to be quite a lot more well off than 80k/yr with all the kids they've got, too. They're living in mcmansions and some of them quite well furnished. Something seems suspicious. At least the white trash family in the post above seems like they could actually use the money.

I would bet these people rent, and can't quite figure out how to save money for a down payment on a house. Literally have probably blown at least 10k on the items in the house tour excluding electronics.
