1. Jafar is a villain so the bad boy factor is in effect.
2. Dude is fucking powerful. Also has a sweet goatee.
3. He's probably done a better job running the country than Sultan, who plays with toys in his room all day.

Seriously, though, I don't know if this chick is any weirder than any of the other waifu/husbando types out there. Her choice of character is more obscure, but there's people out there with even stranger fetishes - just look at the DA thread for some examples. Here's hoping she's calmed down for good.

Naw bruh, he's experienced. Knows how to please a lady. Jasmine was just a bitchy teen who didn't know better and wanted to rebel. What even am I talking about...

Uh... anyway. Personally, it's her whole obsession with tummies that I find weird. Also how she seems to like drawing her "daughter" on her husbando's tummy. It's got some pedo undertones, ya know?

Yeah, drawing her "daughter" on her husbando's tummy gives me weird vibes as well to be honest. And considering the fact that Hollie gets off on tummies, it makes me a little bit uncomfortable too.

Won't be surprised if this thread dries up for a while. Especially since we probably aren't getting much milking or lulz out of it. At least this is the most successful thread that I made though.

I was thinking more like the birth scene from Meet the Applegates.
This movie is a favorite. It's about a family of praying mantises trying to blend into modern society and take over by using the Dick and Jane books as guides... Instead, they end up succumbing to human pleasures. (sex, drugs, shopping, etc)

@WogglebugLover/Cynthia might enjoy this one, as well. :heart-full:

I actually have a theory about this. Nearly all creative writers and artists - anyone who creates characters, really, will often use elements of themselves in their characters. So for Hollie, she is inserted in this alternate universe both the mother - receiving emotional support, sexual fulfilment and such from Jiminy as a husband figure, and she is also Sylvia, who embodies her still present emotional immaturity and need for a father figure to 'guide' the choices she feels ill-prepared for.

@Derpygirl197 I'm gonna level with you. You actually seem like a nice, creative girl. You are def not vindictive like the wogglebug woman and you , at 18, definitely have potential in your art. Taking some time away from this thread and deviantart would be reallly good for you. Use it to evaluate the wants and needs you have in your relationships and see what you're substituting your realities for fantasies. I'm really hoping to see you expand your work in the future and set yourself some life goals which hopefully have a creative facet to them - just remember to go beyond your comfort zones (Jiminy and your fetishes respectively) step by step.

I can actually see this too. People will insert themselves a lot of the times for wish fulfillment.

Since you are 18 @Derpygirl197, it seems like there's a chance you are going to college of some sorts (whether it's a 4-year university or a 2-year community college). If so, I definitely recommend taking some art classes since you seem pretty passionite in your art. I'm taking some and it's been improving my art. Not to mention, you get to learn the basics such as anatomy, contour lines, and it even helps you get out of your comfort zone a little bit. I did not have any malicious intentions when making this thread at all, so I'm sorry if it offended you in any way, shape, or form.
 
I hope you take some time @Derpygirl197 to read other threads and see the path you could potentially go down. Learn from their mistakes it is not too late for you. You have a lot of things going for you and part of growing up is having the wisdom to when to let things go. Not all battles need be fought and some will only lead to more pain and misery.

I can understand if Jiminy Cricket is a likable character, however he like all Disney characters, are not real. For most people, it would be more understandable if you were obsessing over a celebrity like your favorite movie actor or a famous athlete. Even then, there is a line on how much you can fantasize about something socially before people start raising their eyebrows. It is ok to have your fantasies but sometimes you need to take a step and ask yourself are you going too far to the point where it becomes unhealthy.
  • Are your friends and family becoming concerned?
  • Do you think about your obsession nearly every moment of everyday?
  • Do you have other interests that you explore?
  • Take a step back and think from an outsiders perspective. Is it reasonable for other people to express concern about this? Would I think this is odd if someone else acted this way?
  • Are things fine as they are or do I need to make some changes?
In general when an obsession starts affecting your everyday life that is when it has reached the point of becoming unhealthy. If so then you need to step back and find other things that capture your interest to balance it out. Heck, it is always good to try new things and find a new hobby as long as no one gets hurt from it. If you are happy with the way things are, then you need to take responsibility and accept you will always be considered an oddball. The best thing you can do is have a sense of humor about this and don't let people know their words are getting to you. Wear a mask to protect yourself and people respect those who show they are comfertable in their own skin.

It is OK to like Jiminy Cricket, but it is unusual and rather concerning to obsess and express serious romantic feelings towards him. Especially, as an adult.

One last thing to ask yourself, why do you feel so defensive about your love for Jiminy Cricket? Are you insecure about yourself? Do you see a nugget of truth in the criticism?
 
I'm not defending her and more then likely she is probably gonna be like @Stray Sheep and keep on digging her own grave and the rest of us can go, "I told you so." If she is self-aware then she will listen to the warnings and if not :spudking:. I'm betting the latter. Either way she has made herself interesting. It doesn't matter whether or not we warn her, if she is true lolcow material she will take the warnings as we are being mean and further fuel her own sense of victimization and find excuses to justify why she is in the right.:tumblr::tumblr:

I don't know what's happening to me It feels like I'm loosing my spark for Jiminy.

I don't want to loose him I love him too much but nothing is bringing it back I want it to come back. What do I do?

Then she says today:
My spark for my Jim-Jim has decided to come back. After I slapped him, cried and didn't sleep close to him. He apolagized I got up and looked at him and we had a good long talk. He cuddled me as he spoke. We gave each other small kisses and cuddles. Im gonna stop being paranoid and stupid. Good thing I married a Conscience

and as i'm writing this I'm resting my head on Jiminy's big squishy tummy my spark tingling away ^^ I just need to take it slow.
