It's very, very unlikely that Ethan will end up on the registry for what he's currently being charged with. Importantly, though, if he takes a plea deal he will be required to allocute (remember him casually pulling out that $500 piece of legal jargon a few weeks ago, as though he'd been saying it a lot lately?), and we may be able to get the text of his allocution and have @#KillAllPedos or somebody else create a rendition of him reading that confession to bring us an essentially genuine Ethan Ralph courtroom experience.

I'm sticking with my original prediction that this ends with inpatient rehab and no jail time. He'll probably wiggle out of consequences from his suspended sentence, but I could see him getting banned from using social media for a while since that's the vehicle he used to spread the revenge porn. A streaming ban is unlikely since he wasn't streaming when he released the video and none of his criminal acts really connect to the Killstream.

ESPECIALLY if this is a jury trial
This is not a jury trial. All trials in the J&DR courts are bench trials, full stop.

EDIT: And before @AnOminous tells us again you have an absolute right to a jury because of incarceration, from the J&DR pamphlet:

Largely agree with your assessment save for this. "Livestreaming" will probably count as "social media", but that's assuming they actually ban him from social media. I get the feeling Richmond is lax in law enforcement, probably because they have much more serious regular crime to deal with than literal teenager drama. Imagine having to regularly deal with gangbangers, drug runners, violent trailer domestics, and then wasting precious resources on behalf of some girl in California over a sex tape. Most cities are struggling financially due to COVID, which also makes jailing someone that much more difficult and expensive.

Hate to say it alogs, but Ralph is probably going to get off easy, even with probation. Coof was the best thing to happen to criminals.

You're probably right that he'll get a slap on the gunt, but his probation being reset is funny enough for me. He was so close to having it lifted, just a couple more months and he'd put all that nastiness behind him and be completely free. Now he's not and to me that's already more than I could have asked for half a year ago. It's not like they aren't going to fine him, that would be leaving money on the table.

Besides, jail time would mean we'd have to pick on Gator alone.

if they can't persuade them that what he did was not malicious in nature and was done because he was drunk/high out of his mind.
That sounds like an uphill battle in light of the emails and Tweets to Daddy Vickers wherein he says shit like "lol fucked your daughter"

In fact in light of that kind of shit it sounds like an escalating pattern of behavior meant to humilate others (culminating in an actual criminal offense).

My win condition is the judge rules that he can make money livestreaming as long as he announces that he is a sex offender every time he introduces himself every night.

Rate me optimistic but I'm not here to win I'm just here to laugh.
"Hello I am your host Ethan Ralph the owner and editor in chief of the Ralph Retort dot com, host of the Killstream and a registered sex offender"
what would be really great about that is if his fans pulled what Destiny's fans did and followed suit with their idol's embarrassing behavior to "own the meme"

Besides, jail time would mean we'd have to pick on Gator alone.
and wed miss the now imminent ralphafemale troon arc! especially with mantsu helping him open up and find himself

There has to be some kind of god out there with a twisted sense of humour. Just think of all possible times Ethan has broken the law without repricousions for what should be major offenses. Threatning people, leaving his state without approval, doing copious amounts of drugs, the car thing he did.
But what fucking nails him in the end is a stupid disney obsessed teen that was so desperate for attention and to not grow up as to fuck Ethan Ralph.

So what’s everyones prediction for tomorrow?
I predict that Ralph will refuse to show, instead he'll hit the road and he'll continue the killstream whiles on the run.
It'll be the most entertaining show he'll ever put on, completly dwarfing anything that Ralph has been streamed before in views and donations.
Overnight the killstream will blow up in popularity, just like in the king of comedy Ralph will become just like his hero Brednton Tarrant and become the second most watched streamer in the world.

Reading up on all of the shit Ralph does should really warn people that you should sleep with someone who needs a stepstool to reach the light switch and has to waddle as he walks.

ethan ralph is buying new iphones just to use one social media platform the day before court and with all his financial sources withering

I hope that IF Ralph skates on this. That the Vickers push for a civil suit and take what little money he has left.
I don't think they will. They're going to want to bleed him dry for child support, and they know he's going to fight it so he's going to put a lot of money into his legal fees. It is best to get what is important, which for them is the money for the child.

Oh 100%, I don't think he'll see the inside of a jail cell. COVID was the best thing to happen for this fat sack of shit, and he's probably banking on that helping him to get into a diversionary program. I think there's a good chance it's going to happen, and he'll have some probation and maybe a fine. The real question is his probation he's currently on and if they violate him on it, which is a very real possibility.

It's a good chance that stuff like that could be used to show a pattern of behavior with regards to how he viewed Faith. In fact that could be one of the ways they work on making sure he faces more than just the bare minimum punishment.
Today is the day fellow kiwis. What can we expect?
I don't expect much. This is another arraignment hearing since the case was transferred to the J&DR court. Unless Ralph decides to plead out (which could be a possibility given things he's been saying) it's not going to be much: guilty or not guilty, and setting the date for the next hearing.

I don't think so. Daddy V has already passed the comment (facetiously) that he'd rather Ralph surrender his parental rights than pay child support. He's got a fucking ego bigger than Ralph's and he's going to do whatever he can to make sure Ralph never sees this kid or his daughter again. His end goal is to make sure Ralph is gone for good, but what he probably doesn't realise is he has a better chance of keeping Ralph out of the kid's life with child support arrears than some weird deal between the both of them.
