I can only imagine the shit the Dems are up to behind the scenes, Hunter's laptop was the tip of the iceberg. Why are they SO threatened by Trump? Their response is so out of order, I have to really ask myself that question. What are they hiding that's so important that they take advantage of a *ahem* wild virus pandemic to institute mail-in voting to absolutely ensure Trump does not get re-elected, and keep the Capitol fenced in with razor wire long after that pathetic little "riot" they call an insurrection, and STILL bang on the impeachment drum as the nation is facing multiple crises far more important that they should be spending political capital on? I've never seen anything like 2020-2021 (so far) in my lifetime, even 9/11 (shock to the system as it was) pales in comparison to the long-term damage these years are inflicting on the nation.

eta: do they even still make connect-the-dot books for kids anymore? Probably on the chopping block soon.

I don't think it was Trump specifically. Democrat rhetoric has always been building toward promoting an authoritarian left-wing state, it just so happens that it's coming to a head right now.

Trump didn't fully play ball with globohomo, the Uniparty, and the Deep State. Even worse, he showed Americans that being American wasn't a bad thing and he fucked the MIC out of multiple new wars. Finally, he didn't go through the whorehouse that is the political system to gain office and that might give the unchosen ideas that are above their station.

The man was fucked from the start.

Por que no los dos? I see your point though, but without Trump that zit wouldn't have popped quite yet. Not like this, anyway. Made a mess all over my mirror and everything. Someone's gotta clean that up!

The sequel is always shittier then the original
"The Empire Strikes Back."

Establishment Republicans also have their own brand of bad governance but we're getting a history lesson in real time about authoritarianism when we look at Democrats. No authoritarian leader came into office twirling their evil mustache like a cartoon villain. They all did it the exact same way: they claimed that a segment of society is so uniquely dangerous that we have to abandon the concept of a free society in order to defeat them. That's why they're pushing HR127, a comprehensive "gun control" bill designed to eliminate or greatly reduce civilian gun ownership - but also notes that the national firearm registry they propose would be accessible by "each branch of the Armed Forces." Clearly, they anticipate using the military against civilians. The "President" rules by executive order, surrounded by barbed wire, walls, and a possibly permanent military presence. Left wingers talk about fighting Trump supporters as if they were ISIS. This is where they were going all along, but Trump just so happened to be the opportunity to get it done. The boogeyman who was so dangerous that we have to end freedom to stop him.

And then there’s the part where leftists act on their hatred and go after Trump supporters and unleash their own OKC, Columbine, or New Zealand. In Minecraft.
