Biden and Harris are both odious to pretty much everyone. People only voted for them to dunk on Trump. They have zero political capital.

Has anyone seen Trump's reactions to the SCOTUS on Twitter? "No Wisdom, No Courage!" Can't say that I disagree with that sentiment. The SCOTUS flat-out dismissing the case is, indeed, an act of cowardice. If I had to bet, I guarantee that Trump's appointees dismissed this to essentially "recuse themselves" from this because of politics. They probably acted out of fear of political threats and violence. Remember: The SCOTUS was specifically told a couple of weeks ago that they "aren't guaranteed protection." Don't think that influenced any decisions? I think it certainly did. The outcome tonight was essentially my "worst-case scenario" when regarding the SCOTUS.

Now, do I think that Trump is going to go nuclear? I mean, if it's ever going to happen, then it's going to happen in 2020 (lol). I know that the spergs on TheDonald.win keep cheering for this to happen, but I don't think they realize the gravity of crossing the Rubicon. We've never seen a POTUS exercise that kind of power before, and, in a free nation, that kind of thing should be of concern to everyone even if "their guy" did it (and was maybe even fully justified in doing it). To me, these "Pedes" are acting just like Democrats in the sense that there are very possible unintended consequences that come with Trump crossing the Rubicon, and they are refusing to see that.

As I said earlier, in my immediate reaction to the SCOTUS ruling, Trump appears to have two options at this point: To concede or to go nuclear. Either outcome leads to some very serious consequences for our nation.

Basically, right now, we are at a "Pick your poison" option: To allow this election fraud to set a precedent for elections to come, or to have the POTUS set a potentially dangerous precedent on exercising his authority. What. A. Fucking. MESS.

I think that the SCOTUS flat-out dismissing the case before even hearing it made the odds of Trump going nuclear higher than the SCOTUS hearing the case and ruling it against Trump. Trump was given an additional reason to go nuclear tonight, as pretty much every single court has dismissed his cases before they could even be heard. Not saying that crossing the Rubicon is going to happen (I doubt it, but, like I said: shit's crazy in 2020), but I do think that the chances of it happening increased higher tonight than it would have a few days from now if the SCOTUS heard the case and ruled against Texas/Trump. Trump has a case to make for dereliction of duty now when weighing what is left of his options.

I disagree with the latter, things are going to get worse for the common joe as well. Right now the progressives and tankies can post feel-good shit on Twitter and the normies can somewhat tune out this shitshow, but when the economy gets bad (and it will trust me) people will realize that this SocJus bullshit isn't going to pay the bills and you're gonna truly see the return of those bygone dog days from the 1970s. Having taken a Texas gov. class and read up on the subject, from what I've gathered Texas can only secede if certain criteria are met. Namely, it would require the other states agreeing.

I seem to vaguely recall Texas Gov. professor saying Texas tried shortly after the Civil War and was told they couldn't by Congress because they still owed on the Confederate war debt, but since I can't find any articles talking about this I'm going to stick with what Google will mostly tell you-- it doesn't matter how much Texas wants or tries to do this, Texas will still need permission to leave the United States.

They might, but currently they're knee jerk claiming they'll leave. doubt they will unless some of the threats levied such as at the house and political persecutions such as from Aoc happens. If things like that happen, then the ball might get rolling. As it is my cat is better at bluffing than Republicans at the moment.

Again I don’t think it will, but I’m not considering anything out at this point. Even if it’s over for Trump we still have a whole month to get through before Biden is put in. Lots can happen, even if it isn’t “Trump can still win guys!”
